This is how I think he’s still in game: *he was once to be a pillager boss when there in no evoker as the boss he spawns in but soon became a command chat boss and has no lore so we can make up our own lore for him*

I'd say it's likely they weren't slimes previously, just that they were a cousin species per say, similar to skeletons and wither skeletons, and the slime + blaze powder is probably just a very similar but not identical fiery sticky substance like slime

Coal and Charcoal are two different items, that do the same thing, and are all in the exact same crafting recipes. They are identical, but considered different items because of the way each one is made. So if the magma cream is a different but similar item, it can be assumed that it wouldn't be called magma cream. If slimes were to ever move through the now ruined portals, overtime they would probably evolve to adapt to the environment, in some form of symbiosis with the blazes, which is why slimeballs and blaze rods can make magma cubes

What if blazes were made as robots like the iron golem. Made to protect the nether fortresses. And when the builders died out the blazes got used to the fire and lava. And fused into them. Slimes were probably exposed to similar things in the nether

Theory: they put their "rods" inside of them.

Probably blazes are smart creatures and some of them wanted to make experiments on slimes

y'know how there is multiple types of dogs, spiders, ants, etc. maybe it's just a different type of slime that evolved and adapted into the nether for the blaze powder, it's just logic. combining a literal fire elementals blazing rods with slime is likely to make magma cream, it just makes sense

This is what I think The blaze shot a fire ball and the slime absorbed the fire ball and turned into a magma cube

Well maybe blaze is made out of some material in the enther that could resist to fire and the slime used these to resist to the heat or maybe its just an adaption

when slimes got to thw nether they found blazes and taking them as menaces they attecked them. with the blaze powder left in the zone they started mutating because of fire and fiery dust

The real reason might be a lot wierder but blaze simply breeded with a slime 😅

If the slimes were trapped in the nether than over millions of years they probably evolved to fit the climate and since them and the blaze evolved in the same spot they probably evolved similarly which is why the both have blaze powder

Also, the magma cubes are now a completely different color due to being scorched and turned into a blazing mob of the nether, and it's remains being that of what the slime used to be, and of what the slime was crossed with to be turned into what it is now. Maybe the reason that blaze’s are being protected in the fortress is because the slimes that invaded the nether ate all of the naturally spawning Blazes or the slimes like pig were used to make sure the nether was safe and that they could enter.

Slimes can replicate they understood that blazes dont burn no they found some blaze rods layind around or blaze corpse to eat a blaze rod to replicate its ability. Easyer answer they just get used to their surroundings

This how it happend: A slime who got into a nether portal fell into lava, and burned. You use blaze powder to burn the slimeball. Orrrr you melt the slimeball with blaze powder.

Simple the process is the same as how you were made.

Bro i think there is a mob in the nether that's drop blaze but they be extinct with ancient builders This is my opinion

When the ancient builders sent the slimes through to test the nether the slimes found the remains of blazes and absorbed them which then spread through the slime giving it similar properties of the blazes

The blaze probably set the slimes on fire which burnt them permanently, as they were fighting one slime killed a blaze and decided to use it's rod as a weapon but unlucky the slime was burnt and this caused the rod and the slime to merge. As the other normal slimes saw him they decided to abandon him. The blaze broke the portal so it remains there hiding attacking anyone it sees Over naive slimes go in the portal not knowing their fate. Thats my theory.
