An INFP here, I agree that feeling can drive INF for knowledge acquisition. For example, last night I watched a webseries in which the protagonist was a professional negotiator and I found myself reading research papers about negotiation this afternoon. Feeling can make you obsessed with anything. It can even be as abstract and logical as Mathematics. This obsession, combined with intuition can make INFPs do thought experiments about the topic for the entire day. When it’s said that INFPs are imaginative, people only think of art and poetry. However, INFPs can also think about SCIENCES. Many science fiction authors are actually INFPs.

You maybe interested in searching for the neuroscience guy who has broken down each MBTI type into 4 sub categories. I'm infp and never was particularly happy that I'm not really artistic or poetic ...one subtype broke down that and we'd be more intp like with scientific interests. The overall description has been the best fit for me. You may find it useful. I will probably have to edit this post as for the life of me I cannot recall the guys name
From the few INFPs I know, your information seems very acurat to me. Very interesting. As an Infj the Infp to me is so much more authentic, I admire that a lot.
I can attest to the empathy dropping away when I become unhealthy mentally. Empathy really is not a fun thing to experience at all and if there's too many other problems going on there's just no room for that anymore.
I'm an INFP. This is pretty interesting. I have over compensated for some of the ways Im perceived by being very outwardly friendly and smiley. The thing that hit me hard is the description of feeling the need to conform and trying to be our genuine selves. It's hard to balance these things. The empathy vs self focused thing is very true too. My wife often thinks I'm not considering her feelings, but once I am focused on her I almost go too far. From my perspective, feeling is far better for intuition than thinking. Thinking often gets in the way of intuition. You think yourself out of it, but feel yourself into it.
INFP here. Good luck with your channel. ❤
Passion can obviously increase intuition. Intuition is still something we actively choose to use and engage with. If INFPs aren’t interested in something we’re not going to apply our Ne to it and we’re not going to explore it. So yes being passionate about science can make an INFP more Intuitive about it. We apply our intuition to our passions.
*-* ❤✨Im so grateful for this video
As an INFP this was a very good video. You seem to understand us well, haha! You are also beautiful and fascinating to listen to. :) Personally, as an INFP, I want to develop my Te more, as I feel that it will help me massively.

I agree! I wasn't trying to imply Itachi or Sasuke's type; just thought a manga in general suits INFP since they are a creative type

So why not use suitable characters and not mislead people? Or do you just not care about people? People like you doing "that" on the ground and don't even notice it? 😄😁

They always lie and say they are Infj! Hehe. They crush on Enfj. Picture Heath Ledger (Enfj) and Michelle Williams (Infp) and ... you have the whole story. Normally they are concerned ONLY with Estj. Estj are the villain... and hero of their story. Everyone else is merely a kind of audience ...in their drama.

Empathy is more Fe related They are not empathetic naturally as Fe users are

I think the NF types are more natural at understanding people in depth than the SF types because their intuition helps to understand the 'why' behind someone's emotions; but that's just my view on it.

@kurotadorii I would certainly agree in my case, at least with the "why." When describing someone's emotional life in detail... I almost immediately have the why in mind. The "what" may come about in the backdrop but at the forefront is usually the why. The why for me is what drives most of my behavior so it would make sense that this is the first thing I intuit in others. Also Fi is mostly of the same tree of empathy just a different branch. It is collected, stored and presented in a different manner than Fe. And something I don't hear as often... when dealing with someone else in deep conversation about themselves... I tend to judge their inner world more critically. That they could do better or that they possess the potential that they are looking for. That tends to be my observation of Fi, a judge of the inner world rather than the external. Whereas Fe is more judgemental and critical of the external world and others. That there is a more stringent standard for groups of people or just a society at large to adhere to. This isn't always the case but this is my more recent experiences with 3 INFJs in my life. Love the work keep it up!
