My dad was going to AA for a gambling addiction, and when I started having an awakening he suggested i go to some sessions and later a retreat. I wasnt addicted to anything, but there's always something to take from the 12 steps whether you're an addict or not. It was beautiful and recommend it to anyone if they're open to it.

We are always heard by the Holy Spirit who knows better than us what we need to fulfill our journey. That's why I start my day by saying to the Holy Spirit : Ok. Do everything you want. I know it'll be the best for me. I let you live my day instead of me ( my ego). I give you all my problems of that day because you alone can fix them. I give you my body, my thoughts, my ideas and you act like a filter to hold only what is the best for me to live my day. Here is my freedom because the tiny human being that I think I am is nothing. Only dust, only crumbs, only exhaustion, only death. Thank you from France

Thanks i'll start doing the same. The reason we get the most help when we're at the lowest is because then we are willing to fully surrender to the unseen higher powers! ^^ I have experienced a beautiful angel of light helping me when i was at a very distorted low once. :D

As a person in recovery as well, I can really relate to all Mark shared! He’s so right that it begins with surrender! As we say in ‘the rooms’, “U have to surrender to win!” I started having these intense, extremely emotional “inner conversations” coupled with a PHYSICAL FEELING SO STRONG, almost like a wave that comes over my whole body starting when I was about 15. I knew from the first time this happened that it was the Holy Spirit communicating with me. In these “conversations”, I would say nothing while The Holy Spirit would communicate to me that I have a purpose…it never has said what that purpose is…but it definitely communicates that there is a purpose for my being incarnated. It always leaves me feeling so “blissed out” & I always look forward to when it happens again. Just like a few mystical experiences I’ve shared in other comments on ur other videos, I can’t force this to happen nor can I predict it. It’s a powerful feeling & I think one of the reasons it happens is to keep me motivated to keep growing spiritually. Thanks for such a wonderful video! I always feel so happy & inspired after watching anything u put out:)

Thank you again! As soon as my spiritual recognition occurred, conversations with God are ALWAYS met with what I can only describe as devotional tears, a joyful cry to home. While we have FaceTime here on earth, Big G and Master J (Jesus) would have Voice-time with us in Real-time! Very powerful and indescribably humbling to be in the presence of the Holy Spirit. I used to try and hide my tears from my son to avoid having to explain my crying but I’ve been reminded that truth never hides so now when my son sees me crying during my prayers and meditations, he knows that mommy’s on a call with The Infinite Creator🙏

I have heard this voice my entire life. I remember at the age of about 8, my friend had someone in her family die. I had never been to Church ever. I didn’t know of any God that was taught to me, I guess I’m lucky in that way. Anyway, I told her, death isn’t real, only the body dies but your soul is forever. She said how do you know. She said what is a soul? I said, it’s the person that lives inside of you that tells you what to do that is right. She said she didn’t have a person inside that told her what to do. I thought that was odd, even at 8. This voice has kept me from being in vehicle accidents, and has given me visions of the future. I always thought I was psychic. I had an astrology reading as an adult , the astrologist after doing my chart said that he had never seen anyone with a chart that had such a strong connection with their oversoul. He said it’s as if you have constant conversations with it all day and it directs you where to go and what to do. I was like, Yes! How did you know that! I’ve been talking to this voice like it’s my best bud since I was very young. There have been times in my life that I was unable to hear , and I thought it abandoned me for several years. After reading ACIM I now see these were times I followed the voice of the ego. These were at very tumultuous times and when I needed the instructions the most. I had gotten involved in drugs and abusive relationships. I followed the ego. When I couldn’t take any more of life, I got down on my knees and prayed for the first time. I surrendered. I then went through a spiritual awakening. I started meditating and connecting with it again. It told me, I didn’t abandon you, you abandoned you. The voice has even taken over completely a couple of times and spoken to others through me. Like, I was there in the back of my mind and I wasn’t in control of my mouth or words. He/she was. One night, I was talking to the voice and saying…I feel like I am missing something about my spiritual path, and I should me doing more than I’m doing. The voice loudly the words A Course in Miracles. Which I had never heard of before, at least not to my remembrance. So, I looked it up, bought it on Amazon and haven’t put it down since. I’m only on the 8th chapter, but what is crazy is- I already know it as I’m reading it. I’m finding I already think the way the book instructs and the concepts are not new to me. I already inherently know this information, however it has refined it for me. It has been enlightening and given me a relationship with Christ. I always knew when I would hear my Christian friends talk about their ideology it was off. Because of this, I never accepted the Christian religion, or any other religion. I enjoy listening to your videos because you put everything in easily understood language.

I had a realization this morning which reminded me of something I read in the course . I was inspired to write something about feeling our emotions 100% and the writing was so amazing. It just couldn’t have come from me . And someone messaged me thanking me for my post because they are going through the loss of their mother and they said it helped them so much . And then more words flowed from me and again she was so grateful and said she would read what I wrote over and over to feel better . Normally there was a part of me that judged this woman all the time but today I felt nothing but compassion. When I questioned why I swing back and forth with judgment and compassion I realized I was choosing with the Holy Spirit instead of Ego for once .

May 24 2013 as I walked into a graveyard where my dad is resting I felt an overwhelming amazing feeling and looked to the skies and claimed, "wow, this is what love really is." Upon some research I would find another has a similar experience, only 275 years earlier. That person was John Wesley the same person who would go forward forming a church after what he called " A warming of the heart." It was through a seizure I would be introduced back to the church in 2008 and I know today that it was indeed a calling that happened in 2007 when doctor's said I was delusional all over something I said during the seizure. You said it correct, we are all the second coming when we actually pay attention to that still silent voice. Thanks for all your information. I onlt came across your channel recently and it only confirms what I've seen lay out. A beautiful journey home to our creator.

THANK YOU. I'm possessed of the holy ghost and can't remember a time when I wasn't. My first tickle of Awakening was announced by him BAMMIN on my ' front door ' with this fist using actual WORDS as if something was on fire. VERY different but it was my old friend. Before this we had always communicated thru emotions, feelings, or silent instant KNOWING. It took me almost six more months to get the second and third ...... deliveries(?) I learned and grew and explored but was unable to say the words out loud with my mouth for a fear of committing blasphemy. My fear of offending the Lord caused me to question my Sanity and deny my gut feelings in a way I never had . I know now that his voice has Always been in my dreams and has TWICE saved my life by whispering "RUN" into my ear quietly but forcefully. I could hear the voice with my actual, physical ear and I FELT the warm breath behind it. For the last several months I have been grieved and anguished by this, and was beginning to favor insanity as the most likely cause. I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH for this video thank you thank you thank you. Kristin

in the earliest Hebrew religion, the Creator was both Male (Aba = Father) and Female (Ima in Aramaic and Aima in Hebrew). The belief was that the Male aspect could not experience the physical world because it was only "thought/Mind/Energy". The presence of the Creator was only though the Female aspect and the presence of the Creator on the physical plane was ima/Aima, or also called the Shakinah (the pillar of fire by night and the pillar of smoke by day, in the myth/story of the Exodus from Egypt). The concept of the Shakinah continued with the early Christians who had been, for the most part, members of the Hebrew religion (the Abrahamic religion). The Shakinah became known as the Holy Spirit and was the "Mother/Female" aspect of the Creator.

Also the Holy spirit showed me the meaning in the bible that I had never seen before. The bible is a very spiritual book if read with the assistance of the Holy Spirit.

"Very intense and very relaxed at the same time"...HI moments. (I think Sadhguru said that.) I had one the other day in which I was thinking about God being in everything, while listening to anti-new-age Christians complain about this trend in Christianity (praying for them to realize they can trade in the fear in exchange for fun 🙏). I looked over at the car next to me & its license plate said "SUP". 👻

@@janicekellaway6839 You need to recheck your information. I have been a student of Kabbalah for almost 20 years and that is not correct. The "Holy Spirit" did not become masculine until after the Council of Nicea when the Emperor and the Church of Rome wanted to place less significance on women and make them subservient to men. The concept of a Holy Spirit came from the Hebrew religion and was called the Shekinah - which was also represented as the "pillar of fire" by night and the "cloud of dust" by day in leading the Children of Israel out of Egypt.

@@janicekellaway6839 Thank you Janice. Gnosticism came from early Christianity and is what we might categorize more aligned with quantum physics combined with metaphysics. That's is why the Church of Rome and others persecuted the Gnostics, because it is more difficult to control individuals who believe from that viewpoint than it is to control people who abdicate their beliefs to their "teachers". Since the topic is the origins of the concept of the Holy Spirit, everything Christianity began with came from the beliefs of Judaism because that is what the early Christians were - Jews. Kabbalah is much older than Judaism as we now know it. The origins of Kabbalah came from Buddhism and the visits of Buddhists Monks to the Middle East who then taught their philosophies to Rabbis living at that time. There was even a time that the belief was that "God" was female, but that was before the "God of Abraham" became a popular belief. During the long history of editing, deleting and re-writing what we have left of "original" books of the Bible, there are verses rewritten to change an original word from its feminine meaning to a masculine meaning. The female aspect of "God" was called "Ima" in Aramaic and "Aima" in Hebrew. The male aspect of "God" was called "Aba" in Aramaic and "Abba" in Hebrew. In the writings about Jesus during the Crucifixion the Bible says he called out to "Abba".

Oh wow the "hi" moments.. I thought it was just me. This happened to me when I was really ill after 6 months of biological chemotherapy. I had an out of body expierence and when I came back I could feel the holy spirit in the room. I'm one specific area near me. I could feel it so strongly and I heard in my mind "father" and I felt love like I've never felt before. I suddenly remembered God. It was so amazing I asked why we don't remember and was told it had to do with free will... There was so so much more that transpired in that conversation/connection. But just relating to you. I have had other moments where I feel connected, and it's pure love and joy. I think that first moment was important because today whenever I need to, I think of that moment when Holy spirit first came to me and I'm immediatly connected to the same love and joy. Thank you so much for these videos. 🕯️ For breaking down parts of the course and letting us in and hearing what you guys think., ✨💫🙏💕

the 12 steps are a profound teaching on surrender..100%agree and learning to submit and let go to a Being that wants nothing more then to bless you, at first, seemed strange and unbelievable, but then the miracles happen. As they do, you look at surrender as a gift with awe and gratitude for the Love that is always with you! ACIM definitely does seem to go hand in hand with the 12 Steps..beautiful gifts from Love.

I love how synchronicity is always so full of surprises. About two years ago I started writing a Sci-Fi/Comedy movie based on the premise that Earth is an insane asylum for other planets. This is where beings are placed when they become insane, or lose sight of what they truly are. I think I'm going to finally finish the movie soon. I started it before I had ever heard of the Book of Miracles and the Law of One. I think I wasn't able to finish it because I needed to learn these teachings first. Thank you both for your teachings. I will see you at the Forgive 2020 Challenge. Keep it up. This movie needs you.

Re: the subconscious being like a hoarder's basement, I like this analogy but it made me think of a story Alan Watts told about a Zen master who won a debate contest on the nature of the mind. In second place, a person described the mind like a mirror that gets stained throughout life, and daily work is required to polish it, so that the mirror, or the mind, will perfectly reflect reality. In first place, the person argued none of that is necessary, because the mind is like space, and like space, the mind is not empty; it contains everything, yet nothing within space can stain it. He said you can't hammer a nail into space. You can't spit on the sky; if you try, the spit will return to your face. What are your thoughts on that? Hearing it feels liberating, but I wonder if that basement analogy still has its usefulness? At the very least for shining a light down there to expose some unconscious biases, conditioning, etc., or could the whole thing just be let go like a bag of rocks floating around space? Aaron, I think you've said the only thing we can do as who we really are is change our perception, which feels like just allowing everything to exist in the space of the mind, but without the perception that any of it belongs to me or that I need to purify or protect its contents. Edit typos

ACIM comes via delivery truck to my home today and I am so excited to set a routine getting up early to study and learn and expand! I have been listening to you for about a year now and you have inspired me to embody the nondoer, it comes very naturally to me 💕 I have had much suffering in my life but I was blessed to know the whole way through (and even today) that I was experiencing those adversities because my soul wanted to know real love, therefore an equal amount of suffering is a must. Much love to both of you!!

I wish my sister in law would see this, I helped her get into an In patient facility to get and stay clean also help her get a job an her own place for her and her son. She was there not even 7 days and left as soon as she saw her first chance of an excuse to do so. It broke and breaks my heart since I was literally her mother holding her hand driving her to and from appts and making calls with her setting up her appts then making sure she had everything she was told she needed to stay at the facility, my fiancé didn't even want to twll me she left since he knew how hard I tried and how much effort and help I gave his sister... he begged her to leave not just for her sake or her sons ( since clearly she doesn't care) he said please don't leave there "sister" it'll break Bobbie's heart, she did so much to help you get ready and do everything with and for you.... she didn't and doesn't care. Then she has the arrogance to twxt me today and say she is staying with her mother and needs a ride here and there then to her appt tomorrow.... i just didn't respond

Thank you Aron and Mark. I asked what is the Holy Spirit in the ACIM intro class and was still confused to what exactly was The Holy Spirit. This morning I watch this and am beginning to find clarity. After this video I did Mark’s meditation and it solidified the meaning for me. The meditation I experienced was like a baptism. My mom forced me to be baptized when I was 10. I never understood why and felt nothing. Today I truly felt I surrendered and was held in the arms of The Holy Spirit. 😭😭😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️

As a New Thought practitioner, I can say that there is indeed no need for an intermediary... as we are all ultimately One in and with God. As a being with consciousness manifesting in this world, I acknowledge that it is in our best interest to find mentors, gurus, or other friends who are also on the path, who can help guide us and to give advice based on their experience.

Great vid! Thank you for your acim work! (12 step originated before acim.. Richard Rohr who is a Franciscan friar, also incorporates some of those into his teachings.. such rich helpful stuff!) I too experienced the course so similarly to Aaron’s comments here. It was the teaching that literally changed my thinking and being...I am so appreciative of this talk, it so validates so much of my experiences.. on bended knee to me means exactly the humility to surrender to HS. I think too tho that its the same thing in other eastern practices differing only in name, but surrender to the now with no expectations, willing to give all of self.❤️❤️❤️

Great Aaron, David Hoffmeister is saying that the whole cosmos is created by the ego. This gives me the impression of life as something not friendly, as anything else than living in the Kingdom of Heaven is bound to create suffering, havoc, disharmony. But you seem to describe the cosmos as an expression of the Divine instead of the creation of separation.
