Vet here - BIG THUMBS UP to keep Gary away from the other bulls, so he’s not literally “bullied”. Pairing with Trinity, who is not a purebred longhorn is a good match. The care provided at ISS is 5 stars and they can live a long and happy life together, provided the fences are improved to eliminate the threat of other bulls at ISS getting through the fence and injuring Gary. 🐄 🐂 🌈

The fencing in the area where LG; Jezabel and Trinity will be kept, have been improved. Back before there was LHL, improving the fencing in the back pasture was Lester's first attempt at making sure that Tex and Billy stayed away from each other. They are what I like to call Lester quality fences 😊. So the chances of Moses getting over are remotely small 😊

Le still scared of big animals. There was still break ins and outs. Now sending a bull to someone who can't deal with either. He doesn't need his balls. Where there's a willy there's a way! Come on man I guess anybody with a bad legs according to Lester can't impregnate their partners.

I think it’s a great idea. I think for LE’s sake, I would keep that gate closed so they can’t come up to the barn and make a shelter to get out from the weather.

As long as Little Gary is safe and loved, that’s what matters. He deserves a good life.

Why don’t you wait until Trinity is a little bit older and d just take Gary and Trinity together leaving Jezebel here at JL! That way you won’t need them to move back and forth!!

Double dipper here. Lester you couldn’t have thought up any more of a perfect plan for our LG. He gets to live his life in peace, never having to worry about being bullied and on top of that he gets his own little herd to be man of! This idea is brilliant and I feel so great for our LG. He’s a sweet bull and deserves happiness and peace too. This is perfect and if anyone thinks otherwise they need to shake their head. I’m all for this!

LG was at death’s door when you found him and the fact that Gary is still alive today is because of your loving care and hard work. The ISS pastures do need a few cows to maintain them, so it sounds like a win-win situation so Gary can have a safe place to live with his own small “herd”.

As long as Gary stays a part of all of our lives I don’t see how anyone could be upset. I think Gary and Trinity together will be perfect.

Lester if anyone disagrees with you on this, then they don’t have the best interest of your babies. At the end of the day you and Jami know them best and want them to live their best life. I’ve silently worried about Little Gary being around Tex, especially seeing how rough he can play. It’s sweet watching him and Whalen, but he’s always the weakest link and saddest of the herd. I honestly believe moving him to ISS will be the best way of allowing him to lead his best life along with Jezebel and Trinity and having his own little herd will give him purpose and pride that he’s unable to show now! Thank you for putting him first, thinking of him rather than worrying about what we will think of your decision. You are his rescuer for a reason and I think he’ll be a worthy survivor of ISS and perhaps Megan and LE will come to love him like we all have too. His story has been a powerful one, full of bravery , strength and endurance and he deserves his happy place ❤

Just started watching but that sounds like an amazing plan for him. That's why I'm so happy they have multiple properties & family/friends so they can find the best home for that animal at that time as needed. Because their needs do change sometimes. Look at the horses. Unfortunately it was too dangerous to keep the horses at Longhorn Lester's at that time. It may have been fully fixed by now. Plus the grass hadn't gotten the chance to really start growing. But there's plenty of room & grass at L&J so they can stay there for now. Then when it's better go on back to their mama Jamie.

I've always thought Jezebel was beautiful. Little Gary had everyone's heart from start. To see Trinity, Jezebel, and Gary warms my heart because they will most likely find peace in each others company. For what it's worth, I love your decision.

I have always wanted what was best for Little Gary and his future!!! I believe your decision is a wonderful one for him, Jezebel, and Trinity!!! Little Gary won't be bullied anymore and will have his girl with him all the time!! I just want him to be loved, fed with luscious green grass and living his best life!!!!! I remember seeing Little Gary just hanging out with calves, Trinity & Jezebel too. So them being a trio sounds great. Besides if Lester decides he wants more purebred calves from Jezebel she can always go to band camp. Then return to Trinity & Little Gary. It would be a lot easier on Little Gary's injured leg too. Jezebel has always been a little bit of a loner. But she loves her Trinity & I think that she also likes Little Gary. So I agree that I think they'd make a great little herd of 3.

And sanctuaries don't breed their animals, they do everything in their power to not have any of their animals reproduce. All the males need to he fixed, including Gary.

It might be the best thing for Gary to be in his own pastor with his own girl. I’m proud of that idea.

This is a great plan for Gary. He will have company that likes him and that he likes too, and he will be away from Tex. And this helps you with keeping your grass under control at the sanctuary. Gary is a rescue and I think he is a sweetie that will not intimidate LE and Megan. In fact, I am hopeful that they will come to love his gentle nature, as we have.

Agree whole heartly with your decision to give Garry, and Trinity their best life at ISS. Having Jezebel with Trinity and Garry at first will allow Jezebel to support and comfort Trinity as she gets to know Garry and gets used to the many sounds on Morrow Hill.
