1 additional thing to add. You mentioned it but didn't go into detail. The ozone speeds up odor removal, therefore if someone's reason is specifically for odor removal, the reme classic will perform better. The led will help removal of odors too but due to lack of ozone it'll take a little longer.

Which kne would be best to prevent mold growth in the hvac system?

I currently have the original Halo-UV, will the Halo LED fit in the same hole in the duct if I replace it?

You may have to widen it a bit, but not a lot. Some tin snips you can do it easy.

What’s the difference between the Halo LED and the Reme Halo Zero? Would it just be the LED Bulb?

I love the HALO (original) and have them in our homes, businesses and animal charity facility. I also recommend them to everyone who will listen, as we have two businesses that are involved in infectious disease control and indoor air quality. Good video; very helpful and succinct. One small correction: The LED unit is 2.5X faster at removing VOCs "than" the original, not "then."

Yes. This is not a filter itself.

I would love to install a Reme LED on my unit. The only help I will need is with wiring the relay and power supply. Do you offer tech support for this?

@@jolo7693 It's about liability. This is not a simple DIY project. If you are not familiar with how a transformer or relay works and is installed, then it is safer for you to hire a competent professional to do the installation for you. Although it is a simple installation for a professional, if you are not sure what you are doing, and do not follow proper safety procedures you can be electrocuted, or cause a wiring short which could destroy components in your air handler, or the REME itself.

They say it makes the particles bigger to go onto the air filter, but that’s not true because the air filter goes before the system/ coil and the reme halo is installed after the coil and after the blower motor in air duct.

They are saying the unit causes the particles in your air to clump together, and then be more easily caught by your return air filter(s).

What is the cost on the light cell replacement of the Reme LED. Will one system work if I have 2 HVAC systems in my home. Thanks,

It will work, but only in the area whichever HVAC system you install it with works. My SIL has 2 HVACs and purchased 2 Halo LED systems. I don't know the cost of replacement.

About $200 or so.

Do you REaLLY want to be breathing these highly chemically active 24-7??? Get a good media filter and call it a day.
