EPI-Contoura is not detectable on Slit Lamp Test EPI-Contoura is highly unlikely to get detected.

Hi Vaibhav, It's a very thoughtful question. The corneal strength after surgery will be slightly better in Epi Contoura. The corneal flaps heals completely but at the end of the day, it is till a layer now resting on operated surface, it cannot contribute to the strength of cornea.

Yes, Epi Contoura is also a topography-guided procedure so irregularities are corrected and you may get 6/5 vision.

Yes, the final call will be the patients. You can get EPI Contoura done even if your corneal thickness is good. Doctors prefer flap surgery just to make patients recovery fast and smooth. If you’re okay with a slow recovery of 2-3 weeks, then you can go for Epi Contoura

@@uuguhuu BCL is removal normally just like regular contact lenses. You keep using eye drops over the BCL throughout the week, BCL never sticks too much the operated surface.

Flap dislocation is not seen in modern cases. You can say it’s a rare complication that can happen in only 1% cases. Even if it dislocates in that rare scenarios, it can be easily placed back. It doesn’t cause any treat to the vision.

Aapko Contoura Vision ke liye janch kara lijiye, usme Dry Eyes ke bhi test kiye jaate hain. Test se pta lag jaega ki Dryness manageable hai ya problem jyada hai. Problem jyada hui toh laser surger karwana thik nahi hoga. Contoura ya kisi bhi laser surgery ke baad 2-3 mahine dryness aur jyada badd jati hai, isiliye ye jaanch karwana jaruri h.
