Thanks so much I have been looking for this for a long time I think am in the right place
There a fundamental difference my lecturer pointed out with regards to privacy and confidentiality. Privacy revolves around protecting information for users eg. users biodata and information of that likeness. However, confidentiality revolves around protecting information that has strategic value to an institution or organisation, failure to which that strategic value will be impacted negatively eg. covert operations for a military institution.
Just want to say a big Thank you for this video. I have watched your other videos and appreciate the fact that you explain complex topics well and give examples/analogies along with it to help understand the concept better. I truly appreciate it!!
