I applaud the fact that you went with a practical tire size, and didn't try to jam the biggest tire possible in there.

Thank you! I have thought about getting bigger ones but I keep telling myself no
Appreciate your videos man!
Truck looks awesome !!!! Thanks for the advise I will putting 265 on mine !
New sub !!!
I’m interested in the bumper storytime haha
265 75 /16 i contacted custom offset they advised me🎉 no rubbing or cutting from a stock 245 nice fit and does not eat my wallet on gas.
I have a trail Tacoma and want to keep the wheels. The offset stated online says it’s +4mm. Would these size tires stick out a bit or look flush with the fenders. The stock Kevlar tries on currently seem to poke out just a hair

My tires are the same size as the stock ones. The tires themselves won’t make the wheels stick out anymore, you would need to get a negative offset wheel or spacers
Chevy Colorado Trailboss comes with 2in lift and 32in tires from factory. ZR2 has factory 3 in lift with 33 in h tires. For the first time actually outperforms the Taco.

Definitely does, I don’t know why Toyota made fitting bigger tires so difficult. Such a shame
i got a buddy with 255\85 16s and his experiences with them have me sold on a set when my 265s wear out. 33s with no rubbing on stock wheels and they take the trails no problem.

I have looked into pizza cutters but I’m more of a wide tire guy. 255/85s are very versatile however and I think it’ll make a great addition to your taco

I went with toyo open country 255/75r17 on 4runner TRD wheels and am very happy with them. They're a bit bigger than 32" and fit no problem on stock TRD OR suspension. I live at over 8000ft and drive through a lot of snow and the "pizza cutters" do amazing. They also have less rolling resistance, better fuel economy and are arguably better for off-roading than a wider tire. There really are no practical benefits for a wide tire except for looks, if that's what you're into.

@@manwithnoname734 you got the Toyo muds? I heard they aren't great in snow, sand, or wet/ice? I got those Toyos and have a mountain trip coming up.

@user-bs6th7vq2p no I have the AT3s. They are fantastic in the snow, best I've had that weren't actual snow tires. I've always been a fan of all-terrains for their versatility unless I was putting them on something more built for the rocks like my old XJ was then I'd go with a mud.
What happened to your bumper?
But wait, in your new wheel video you are going to 285?
What brand of wheels are you running?

265s proportions don't look great with a 2" lift in my opinion... Once you lift it that much or more i feel you have to bump it up to 255s or 285s.

I agree. A 1" lift is about best with 265/75r16. Ask me why I think that. Well because the gap is silly
Trade me tires, I’m in Fayetteville, I’ve got 285/70r17 nitto ridge grapps 3k miles I’m wanted to go back to stock
The best size is factory. Everything engineers have done are for stock tires
