@@darrenthetuber743 all because he wasn't acted like too much of a rock star. Jeff said that "he was the only one ok with being a rockstar" There was a difference in philosophy they said. As in "don't celebrate success" Its ridiculous. Matt's just glad to have a job and he'll do everything Eddie tells him to do.

Good call with Let the Records Play being a standout. Riot Act and Binaural are stronger than described here. Ghost specifically is probably breaking my top 5 pj songs these days.

Well, well! It changes all time but here we go: 1. Yield 2. Vitalogy 3. Vs 4. Ten 5. Binaural 6. Riot Act 7. Dark Matter 8. No Code 9. Pearl Jam 10. Backspacer 11. Gigaton 12. Lightning Bolt But the thing is, they're all great! PJ is a very curious band in terms of ranking because unlike most bands there is no global agreement on the ranking, always bringing many surprises when we look at the rankings of different people and this is beautiful and says a lot about the band.

Good list but No Code should be higher

Hi Nick, thanks for the video! Big Pearl Jam fan. I distinguish two PJ period of time. Before Binaural and after Binaural. For me first five albums, that is just a clasic. Love them all! Binaural, Riot Act and Avocado very good albums. Lightning Bolt good and so is Backspacer. Gigaton definitely their weakest album and my least favourite. But lets get Running in the Dark Matter towards the Wreckage!

Great list! Looks like a lot of people have Gigaton at the bottom, hopefully the new album ranks higher!

Great rankings, I love seeing No Code at the top!

PJ really only has 2 mixed bag albums, Gigaton and Riot Act. Every other album is either good, great or a classic. Amazing band!

@@NickCinoMusic exsctly. Even Binaural jumps over the boundary by just a bit to be classified as a "good" album to me, even though it's not one of the greats. The latest one would rank 7th in my list, I guess, after the Self Titled. The 90s albums and Avocado are in the top 6, no doubt, but Dark Matter gets close imo.

Yeah Gigaton is flat I agree. Great video.

Listen to it again. it’s dark. It’s mysterious. It’s some of their best work in my opinion

I just can’t get into the Pearl Jam self titled (avacado) album. It’s a bit bland in production. I bought it when it was released and just doesn’t resonate.

I hear that, a lot of the songs aren't as strong as other albums. Unemployable is a gem tho 🤘

I loved gigaton when it first came out, but it hasn’t lived up to the hype I put on it at all. That being said, I still don’t think there is a more lopsided album in the PJ pantheon than lightening bolt. So many skips on that album for me.

Yield is my least favourite. I hate the production and the mix, sounds low-fi and thin. It’s not explosive or hard-hitting, and it doesn’t sparkle like Vs. or Ten did. I enjoyed your video though, keep up the good work 👍
