You missed the fact that the late DS OG's shipped with the CPU-20 and could be flashed to the beta V8 firmware, this gave them the same brightness options as the DS Lite instead of the on/off option.

Consider making less repetitive arguments
The DS XL in D is sacrilege. I get you hold no nostalgia for it but your reasoning is weird. You think the 3DS XL are great as they are a larger screen and can upscale DS, but thats literally false. The 3DS XL upscale of the DS is all blurry and weird, even DS games on the regular 3DS dont scale right. The DS XL upscales DS to the correct integer and its pixel perfect, you can see every pixel and it looks stunning. The best way to play any DS game is on the XL imo. The original DS in S tier is correct tho and otherwise good vid dude
