they really need to add the drift tuning to every car or at least every performance car.. there would be such a variety in handling for some cars

I'd like to see more tuners added it was probably the most vehicles I've collected out of any dlc.

As a person who enjoys the look of 370z’s (euros) I absolutely love the feeling of it, I’ve noticed it’s almost perfect in between smoothness and responsiveness, I don’t know if that’s just how I feel about it but my god it’s nice to drift once you know how to use it

imo euros looks garbage in comparison to real life Z and in-game Arena War Z. Rear lights ruin everything making the car ugly for me. I just with they gave us normal version of the Arena War Z :/

I’m so happy that the gtx is on the top cause it was my go to choice even before the update and even when rockstar patched the double clutch I just developed my own technique on downhill and futo gtx worked perfect for it. It’s just a great car overall

The Karin Futo will always be the OG drift car for me. Like seriously back then, not just was the car rare cause it wasn't sold on southernsanandreas yet, but it was also concidered the best drift car at the time

I already had the Remus from the prize ride challenge a while back, I may collect the others eventually. But I'm happy with the little Silvia ❤

Thanks for the breakdown, I just came back to GTA and discovered the Drift Tune on accident while modifying a Futo. Most fun I've had in a while.

Funny thing you put the zr350 last when its number 1 in my opinion because its much nimble, light ,easier to counter steer also it can hold drifts the best.I didn't find the Remus and the Futo as good as you described them both are easier to spin out than the rest of the cars both feel sluggish compared to zr350.

Agree, ZR350 and Drift Yosemite are in my Top 3, Futo GTX for mountain roads or tight corners

definitely a good time sliding these around. would be awesome if r* would add it to more of the benny's and autoshop cars, like the widebody e30/911, or the datsun 520

Sad to see that not all ls meet cars doesn’t have the option for drift tune but im sure just like low grip tires that u can apply them to every car eventually…..

Idk abt that, there are some noticeable intricacies with the drift tune physics. It’s better than Car X I hear from ppl. With that being said. It would be weird to just slap the exact same physics code on each car after this update. Also what car would be the blueprint for that? What if that style is something not everyone likes? For example the Tampa is snappiest in the transitions, the ZR 350 is also that but has more insane angles, the Yosemite is less snappy but it has a lot more driftable angle than most the drift cars if not all. What if people like the Tampa more, or the ZR more because it’s slight more buttery aesthetically? What if they like the Yosemite’s angle? I think giving more variety is better than just giving every car a copy, and paste physics dynamic imo. I’d rather only a quarter, third, or half of all cars get the physics rather than all if it means we will have variety, intricacies, varying skill ceilings/floors!

For me, the Remus was the best. Already had it, tried it with the drift tune when it came out, and instantly fell in love. I'm amazed of what kind of angles I can throw with this thing, and how well it responds to every bit of throttle. Love it.

Watching you drift merc an npc with an ambivalent cop car watching was a good laugh.

YOOOOOOOOOOO Good to see the Futo Gta on top, this was my go to car as soon as i learned it was tunable to be drifting I had to get it and make it my main car for drifting races such an amazing car to drive overall 🙌

The ZR350 is definitely one of the best seeing as they rank consistently high in drift races (myself included). Personally, the FR36, the ZR, Remus, and Futo are my faves

The ZR350 had always been the more difficult car to drift since it came to Online, But to me, It's my number 1, I personally disagree *might be the way that i swing the car* that you gotta correct early, theres just a specific way that you got to use it, if i play 50 events, i lose maybe 4 of them using the zr350

One thing to note, if you already had low grip tyres on your vehicle before purchasing the Drift Tune, you will have a different drift experience than if you were to put stock tyres on. Sadly you can't put low grips on after you purchase the Drift Tune, but you can buy stock tyres. Try each out yall :)

Being a beginner-intermediate at drifting, do you suggest stock tires before upgrading or install low grips before upgrading? Also, everything else (performance upgrades) fully upgraded before applying drift tuning? Or would you suggest leaving the upgrades I have on say... the drift tampa or jester rr (already drift tuned before the dlc) when upgrading to the new upgrade?

The Euros has a bit of a learning curve, but it's the best out of all of them in my opinion,with it's size is easy to control and since it's light, you can take hard turns basically backwards and easily correct yourself with the gas if you enter the turn late. It also is very good at combo drifts if you learn the proper amount of handbrake and gas. I will say though your list was good, all valid reasons for each car being where it's at.

I feel the rx7, euros and 86 are hands down the best cars also gotta say the Tampa is fun as fuck but for me euros is one of the best drift cars maybe even number one (my opinion) 2nd is rx7 and I feel in the rain both those cars are just godly cars to drift they don’t feel under powered and destroy tracks like nobody’s business To me the g35 , Remus, and the RR are really boring to drift but they look amazing in drift angles which for me sucks because I drift them less because of how much traction the Supra feels it has and the Remus to me feels very underpowered the g35 to me just feels like easy mode and it looks super plain in appearance I spent 2 hours trying to figure out a good color and livery combo to make it look cool or exciting enough to get me to drift it (finally after a couple days of changing its look up all I wanna to is eat corners with my g35)

After Doing The Drift Racing a Few Times, But The First was The Drift Tampa, Second was The Remus and Third Being The Futo GTX, I Found The Remus to be The Best One, The Futo is Cool Too but Only in Free Mode as it Still Has That Oversteer Fish Tail Issue that it Always Had, I mean it’s definitely isn’t nearly as Bad as it was Pre Drift Tires, But Still Can Be Pretty Finicky if Your Aiming For Those Double Point Areas in The Races

Man the ZR350 is my number one. You can pull angles in that car unlike the others. I like it. The euros is similar to lesser extent. Top 2 ☝️ for me.

I let a guy test out my Remus Kaidoracer build early last year and that guy managed to control the car much better than I've seen anybody do it even with the new drifting setup, legendary guy

i've driven the absolute dogass out of my remus with low grip bennys and my normal remus both stances and not stances in low grips and jesus christ it's so much fun and amazing to drive and now i have my sleeper remus with the drift tune, no low grips, been very fun to drive. they're good man

Its best to find out your favourite by using drift races as you can test every drift car in it, I used it quite a lot and I like the ZR350 and Remus best

First video I've seen criticizing the zr350. Normally it's the Yosemite at the bottom, and the zr350 is in the high middle of the pack, never considered the best, but well liked by all.

I think I have a futon. But think the back section can't be a GTX (my futo is more boxy like a Lada or 80's vehicle)? Mine has this rusty livery.

What he says is 100% accurate. Take note. running different suspensions helps a lot. Not every car will function 100% on competition suspension. I personally run low or street suspension.

My nephew and friend who never drifted in gta to I lent them my rx7 said that it was the best for them it felt easy ngl I thought they’d enjoy the slower drift cars but they both adjusted quickly to the ZR than the 86 they spun out more in the 86 than the rx7 which tripped me out I would’ve thought it the other way around

My favorite top3 are : The Remus is the best in terms of continuous drift/power. 2nd is Futo GTX for short turns and tight angles. 3rd Euros for reverse drifts and swinging wide

F1 or Bennys merge drift Tampa goes crazy, you keep all upgrades and turbo after the drift tune

Honestly I wish there were more drift cars like Cypher or Sentinel Classic. I mean Sentinel Classic even has DRIFT bumpers and spoilers.

i have two remus with drift modifikations it the beste for me. make so much fun... and now with snow and drift mod its so much fun

Zr350 is my baby,I love drifting it and with high speed drifts one key thing to keep in mind is leave the e-brake alone and literally just feel the drift,I don't know how to explain it but its easiest to keep in mind its all wheel drive and will go where you steer

1st car I drift tuned was the jester rr, won lots of races, but personally I love s13 240s irl so I got the Remus and ig the fact that it’s a good drift platform irl it makes it more fun to drift and more likable, idk why but I dislike the fathom. I reverted it back to stock and im going to get the futoand drift tune it and buy another Rx7 and drift tune it so I have 2

i would have to say the zr350 is the best out of the bunch. verry good for all types of coners besides mostly straight coners, it makes you have to do a munji that will slow you down but for me all the others are way under gripped or over gripped

You know front engined cars are bound to be front heavy in real life thats just how it works, i think that rockstar went for a more "realistic" feel with the drift tuning compared to an easy and satifying forced smooth feel if you get what am saying, one thing i am afraid of because of the drift races is people prioritizing points over style like they do in forza horizon with the drift zones, that makes Rwd cars less desirable and awd/4wd more "meta", the thing is that forza has drivetrain swaps, gta doesn't which will push rockstar as they already do to release more awd cars as drift cars which aren't even close to being challenging nor satisfying to any remotely skilled player

Even though i could relate on everything that’s said in this video. My own personal ranking would be completely different and that’s what makes these cars/races so special, since there is no clear cut "best" car. My ranking: 1. FR36 2. ZR350 3. Euros 4. Jester RR 5. Futo GTX 6. Remus (haven’t driven the Tampa and Yosemite yet)

The remis can get some massive angles. Went to my 1st drift meet the other day and i could get aroud 100 degrees whilst still maintaining the drift its insane

I feel Rockstar did the drift update amazing cause my personal list is almost the opposite of what flush's I really like the rx-7 for the same reason he enjoys the 86 but have the same problems with the 86 that he has for rx-7 and I can tell it's just a different play style of drifting It's not cause one is simply better its more of each person is better with their specific car of choice

How do I put on the drift tuning on the Karin futo

I found out that Track wheels make the car drift less but prevents you from spinning out less. for those who like using the handbrake a lot, this might be a good upgrade🤙

i love my remus!

I’d say the Tampa is snappy in the reversals, but it’s not as buttery smooth when trying to kick out, and hold a wide turn. The ZR is slightly better in that regard but if you lose the viable aesthetic slide angle, you will need to reinitiate in a not so good looking fashion. Overall the Futo GTX has the most insane angle of all them, and has the smoothest transitions, and drifts at various different angles. My best personal as far as feeling, and consistency is the GTX, but the Tampa is just a niche car for me, my best drift points on an entire unbroken drift are 500k in the Tampa. My record in the GTX is 300k I believe.

I did 44 laps unbroken (raining) in highway code (6million+ points) with my gtx and I have to agree transitions are insane and fun I enjoy drifting it the most in mirror park though Also seeing the game give you drift god is satisfying as fuck

I am so happy that the tampa is top 3 i loved drifting it with just low grips and its AWD which i love to drive. Now with the drift setup its even beter

The drift tuned cars become 4WD so you'll need to use the brake in addition to the handbrake for that speed boost in 2nd gear

No the best drifter, not the fastest car.

It really must just be a taste thing and how you like drifting, this is the 4th video like this and everybody puts the Euros near the bottom and I think it feels the best. And after that it’s a cointoss between the Futo and Remus probably. But the 2 with Drift in its name are for sure the worst.

I personally think the yosemite is better because it has a lot more angle-recovery

Im ok with my Drift Tumpa, its a great beginner Car in my opinion
