@@kairi-seraphim14 I'm a Steve main (about to drop him) by far the most USELESS DLC character for top-tier competitive smash. Like WTF, I love minecraft but WHY THE F. is his moveset that bad? Can't deal ANY good fucking damage if you don't have that stupid diamond sword... (Also that insane ending lag of all his attacks. Holy shit) Like why dosen't he arrives with a DIAMOND SWORD?... And getting those stupid diamonds is impossible when your opponent keeps lauching STUPID projectiles and steve just STOPS mining and stares like an idiot waiting to get hit and punished by a COMBO. Steve its just a huge PUNCHING BAG... I don't know if I can deal with this shitty moveset I hope they change his moveset or I'm changing my main

That set might be outdated, Edelgard (Five Years Later) has the best defense of 6530 compared to Mega Dinacie's 6304. Armor Knight + Trade-off defense gives an defense modifier of x2.5 with Brick-wall style, better than just 3 Trade-off defense support spirits. However since Edelgard (Five Years Later)is an Attack type spirit, it will get a disadvantage against the Absolutely Safe Capsule spirit (because of being a Shield type spirit) and take 1.3x more damage from it, Mega Diance in other hand, gets the 0.85x damage reduction thanks to being a Grab Type spirit. Other defensive moves such as Joker's Rebel's Guard and Incineroar's Revenge reduce the damage they take by x0.4, defensive support spirits such as PSI Resist up or Fire/Explosion Resist up give x0.6 defense to the desired type of the attack, both mentioned give roughly a x0.2 damage reduction on Ness and Lucas' PK fire, Critical Health Defense is slightly less effective than Trade Off Defense (x1.3 defense bonus compared to the x1.4), Also Trade Off Ability is less effective than Trade Off Defense (x1.2 defense bonus compared to the x1.4).

Hell, before I got into the dark souls franchise I knew about Solaire before I even knew about orenstein and smough.

For those who are wondering, the reason he used Mega Diancie and not Proto Man is because... 1. Absolutely Safe Capsule & Proto Man are both Shield Type Spirits. 2. Mega Diancie is a Grab Type Spirit. 3. Grab Type Spirits receive less damage from Shield Type Spirits, which means Mega Diancie receives less damage from Absolutely Safe Capsule than how much damage Proto Man receives.

5:13 Shulk’s own fault for using the monado a person. The monado can’t cut people.

@@bruh_ruok4081 Well, the 0.9x staleness multiplier is still applied in the same way that other moves are, so I’d say it depends on the character and how strong their Final Smash is.

You'd think after all those debuffs, ganondorf would just start healing his opponent with that punch

if you used Kirby for the second character you could've had the 1v1 multiplier removed and Kirby with shulks special might've brought marths FS down to .1 or 0

1:35 you could achieve a higher defense spirit team by using Armor Knight + 1 Trade off Defense. As opposed to the 3 ToDs you used here. You currently have a 2x defense boost, but you could achieve a 2.5x boost! (Armor Knight 1.8x defense boost + 1 ToD 1.4x boost = 2.52x boost).

I think the biggest reason for why this video's defense is better than that other video's offense is that there are more options to be used for defence rather than offence.

so this way you could play with static percent. i wonder which character would be the best in this as doing combos no longer has meaning but the good characters are also good at ledge trapping and edguarding which is the only way to win. or things like puffs rest, not the knock back and damage, but the flower part that inflicts static damage could be good.
