Love the video, I know my question was briefly answered at the end of the video. But I would love to see how the OG linkbuds stack up against bone conduction. I got try aftershocks briefly and was blown away with how the music sounded. Thanks for the hardwork guys!

Hey fellas! Excellent video! Nice job on the graphics and pacing. Sounds like these are great all-arounders and can with the big dogs. The price sits $50 less than Senn Momentum TWS 3. Is the ANC and Sound Quality going to be * to be markedly different between the 2? I know you have both in shop

Love to watch your videos. Great content AND entertaining! I tested the LinkBuds S as well. Impressive sound quality and noise suppression for the money, but battery life with NC on is too short compared to others. Therefore XM4 I will try next. How about to compare them with the new Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus which costs a fortune.

You guys are the best. Love both Linkbud models and I also prefer the S over XM4 due to comfort.

@@livingthemomlifeI still have them and use them and very much enjoy them. I like the sound better than the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, but the microphone quality has seemed to deteriorate a little bit from what it was when I first got them. I would still very much recommend them though as they are a great value and Sony's app has many options to customize them too.

Ok so the real question is when will there be XM5 earbuds and is it worth waiting for those or just going with LinkBud S???

I know this is an old video but I'm posting this for clarification. The OG Linkbuds don't have touch control, they have accelerometer sensor that "feel" the vibrations from taps. You can use the wide area tap feature with gloves, beanie hats and such. And both Linkbuds have been updated to multi point that works great. The microphone on the OG Linkbuds is one of the best too

It is amazing how good the microphone is on the OG Linkbuds. It still holds up to this day! It is so small compared to other earbuds too. It may not be perfect, but its pros are very strong.

I loved my XM3s so much that the sound tuning couldn't do it for me on the XM4s and returned them. Unfortunately my XM3s died due to lack of an IP Rating. If the Linkbuds S sound like the XM3s then I'm sold.

Great video! Many more people should see this!! Also like that you show frequency response graphs. What equipment do you use to measure that?

How does link buds S compare to Soundcore liberty 3 pro

Brilliant review once again. However, I could barely hear you guys with such a loud background noise. It amazes me that so many youtubers talk about the sound quality of various gadgets and ANC feature comparisons when they themselves make the lives of their content viewers harder by putting background music. To me, it should be a common sense that background noise makes it hard for a human being to listen to anyone or any audio. That's exactly why the ANC feature was invented in the first place. Your content is based on technical information and should be easily audible to your viewers. You have a good voice and a great microphone for recording, why to ruin that experience and make the listeners' life harder?

I absolutely love my Donut Linkbuds for cycling and running

You guys are incredible. Love your videos. I did find with the linkbud s the sibilance to be really bad. For instance I listen to mostly audiobooks and the sibilance was so bad it would make the drivers pop. Other than that they are amazing.

Sony wf c500 vs xb 700 which is best for sound quality

I believe in the recent app updates, sony allows you to pair up to two devices simultainously. My Linkbuds S can pair to both my PC and iPhone, and switches audio source automatically depends on which device is used.

@@pavankruthik8698 bass is good and you can adjust in the app. It’s loud enough, plus you hav very good anc. Battery is good, 6hrs at least. Just don’t use LDAC. That drains more battery.

@@pavankruthik8698 I compared bud s and xm4 back to back. Xm4 sounds fuller. ANC is slightly better. But unless you compare them back to back. The difference is negligible for regular consumers. Bud S is so light and comfortable to wear. That’s the biggest advantage over the xm4

DHRME says buy I buy. Tried the XM4s and they were so uncomfortable. It wasn’t the tips for me it was just my concha getting irritated. The LbSs immediately feel comfortable, as nice as the UE Fits or the Jabra Elite 7 Pros but without the many drawbacks of those. The Beats Fit Pro were the first ones I tried that checked all the boxes and it seems like these do that and then some. The only thing the Beats do better is negating the occlusion effect when in transparency mode for things like eating/talking. Edit: After another day, only negative is that while the transparency is quite good, there is noticeable but not unpleasant white noise, more than some others. It’s not intrusive but if you want dead silent if it’s actually dead silent around you these aren’t it.

Like a zillion other people I use an iPhone along with a windows laptop for work and on calls all the time. I need a “true” multipoint earbuds/headphone that switches seamlessly between zoom calls and my phone calls. What do you suggest? I think the topic demands a separate video?

They go for like...less than $100 on ebay if you look carefully. Sometimes a little extra for shipping.

My biggest question of the day for these buds is "how firm so they sit". It's been a year or something, and I'm still getting stressed with my Liberty 3 pro in this regard(gym). Even willing to buy the xm4 just to try out that "some people have ear fatigue", hoping to get something that sits in place(and performs well)

Don't know about the others from the video but the XM4s are one of the firmest fits I tried. I also own the Elite 7 pros and the Beoplay eq and there is no contest, not even close. They've never ever have fallen off my ears, no matter what i was doing, even hard training.

The c500 are the most comfortable, never fall off or hurt ears, fit perfectly, u won't know they're in.....sound superb nd are much cheaper

Sony Linkbuds S is 15$ cheaper than Liberty 3 Pro. Which one should i choose :( I can't decide.

Based on your shorts I was actually thinking of buying the S. Then I saw the XM4 being cheaper (yeah, I know) than the S on an internet webshop (for the Dutchies, it's the "blue" one) and I'm now an happy XM4 user

@@marcodiluca210 It's pretty good actually. That is, in a quiet environment, not outside while riding a bike (that's just silly to my opinion anyway) But whenever I am cooking dinner and at the same time calling my mom, that's perfectly fine

They do look similar in fit was able to see a Sony display at Best Buy of both including tips.

why all the sony earbud got short battery life compared to other brand earbud like anker soundcore, earfun

LinkBuds S are often available for ~110 dollars. It's not even a comparison. Sony earbuds are known for frequent problems though, like static noise and broken ANC, which sadly I experienced myself. Still, their earbuds are great for the price.

The c500 sounds excellent!! Any day better than xm3 nd xb700.....tried them back to back. I found the bass as good or slightly better than xm4!! Super value for money.

Try to use different tip for right and left. It happens to some people. Use different size for each ear might solve the problem.

Sony is best in sound. using xm3 I love the sound but they are large and won't sit in ears. lokking for upgrade and link buds s is looks better with smaller size and Anc..

ifixit and others say it is possible without damage on xm3/4 if u r patient and r capable of performing minor surgery. Not sure on the other models.

linkbud s feels so lifeless in default tunning and hard to fine-tune with eq for punchy kicks with clear hi-hats with thick bass.....still can't find the perfect eq and kinda regretting getting it

I said this on another video, but im say it here again. I bought the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen a month ago and hate them. Because they dont fit in the ear , no matter what size i use. It’s specifically my left ear that looses the seal all the time. I bought the Sony Linkbuds S and they fit PERFECT. So sorry Apple, but Sony’s Linkbuds S destroy your Airpods Pro 2nd Gen. Yes , you heard it hear first. Im not lying, and im not a fan boy. I love apple, i have the Airpods Max. And new iphone 14. And i wanted to love the Airpods Pro 2nd Gen, but there literally a waste of $250 because they dont fit in the ear. My new Sony Linkbuds S fit PERFECT. And i dont know if anyone has said this, but the Linkbuds S noice cancelling DESTROYS the Airpods Pro 2nd Gen noise cancelling. No lie. PS: and i have bought all the aftermarket ear tips for the Airpods Pro 2nd Gen and the fit is still bad. My best guess is the Airpods tips is most likely the problem. Since the tips go down, i feel thats what is essentially pulling the airpods out the ear. While since the Sonys have no tips. This eliminates that problem and this is why the Sonys fit in the ear and never pop out or loose the seal. Another detail just FYI, is the only eartip that works better on the Airpods Pro 2nd gen is the size Small. But they still pop out and loose the seal after like 5 minutes. While the Sony Linkbuds S , the size Medium fit perfect.

Have been using the linkbuds S since few weeks now… bugs haven’t been resolved … Slave vs master issues, sound imbalance inspite the app shows balanced, battery is below average and a very slippery surface of buds 😢 and surely not worth 11k and even the galaxy buds pro 1 is better then this infact

Maybe faulty unit? My linkbud s works well. The battery is ok-ish considering the size of the buds itself.
