aisa kuch nahi hota smoke testing ko apne bhot complicated bna diya hai. its very simple if any major funcionality is not working tb wo smoke fail hota hai. Ex- facebook me login hi nhi ho raha , galat otp se login ho raha hai etc. keep things simple freshers confus e hote hai. I'm also a manual + automation tester bhot problem hui thi starting me but now I'm stable when I know things are actually easy people make it complicated

Smoke testing is a very basic testing just to make sure high level tests are passing to go with further testing. Need to ask manager for time for further testing. This is a general procedure

We don’t do negative testing during smoke. Smoke will have very basic and minimum test cases
