ARAMCO don't recruit directly. They hire the personnel thru their agents based in the countries where from they would like to hire. Like Karachi, Mumbai, Beirut, Cairo, Houston etc etc.

For those in the comments, valuation is an "estimate", it's up to investors to decide how much they want to pay and it's up the company to decide wether or not to go public. The higher the oil prices the higher the valuation. For those wanting Sandi's oil to come to zero, the world right now has limited oil production spare capacity. Saudi Arabia's oil production represents around 13% out of the world's production of oil (comparable to the US, and Russia). Any disruptions in production means everything is going to be expensive for consumers (anything made of plastics or anything petrochemical based is going to be expensive). For those talking about oil production decline, You know what is ironic. Countries whose oil production peaked, their oil fields matured, and own less reserves didn't stop producing oil until now. Oil production doesn't stop suddenly in conventional oil fields. However, there is a decline trend that can be spotted if a country's production numbers started to go down which is not the case right now. You can stop the decline by production enhancement technologies or drilling in new locations.

That's the truth

Aramco doesn't need to list itself on public exchanges because they are already raking in cash. The reason they are listing just 5% is so that they will have to disclose their reserves as part of going public. They will probably have a big surprise for everyone about how vast their reserve is.

Reliance sold 20% of its stake to Saudi Aramco, it is a win win deal for both the companies, as reliance will be a debt free company with this deal and saudi Aramco will enter the indian market with its products through the help of reliance.

The fact that America is set to be the largest oil producer in the world in 2019 (maybe it already is) will put continuous production on oil prices going forward so forget the days of $120/barrel. Electric cars gainjng wide adoption in next 10 years is another risk to oil prices.

Amol it seems you know better than USA,Japan,Chine and EU governments in economy? how gonna you replace your electric car cooling oil without buying oil? how will you sent satellites to the space without oil? you know who Gas Engines work in the Rockets? from where you gonna get kerosene (Jet Fuel)? how will you get Asphalt for the construction of roads and bridges!! you didn't put these things in mind? without kerosene we won't travel from place to place easily by planes! without satellites no Internet no Bank transactions no digital accounts or smart networks. without cooling oils no Engines or machines no Generators or Turbines no even electric cars could work or gears simply everything now is based on oil ...we need at least 1000 years to change everything without oil...only god knows what gonna happens during all of these period of time...the world could even end before we see that day which world got its freedom from Oil rule

Abdulelah That's the true but when we start electric cars oil will lose much of its value and will only be good for plastics. And as countries move to ban plastic bags and lower the use of plastic due to environmental concerns, oil will lose even more value. Whatever oil the world will neef will be supplied by Canada (3rd largest deposits of oil). Bye bye Saudis.

I majored in Islamic history in the 70s and my two job options were Aramco and the CIA :D. PS I bet the Pommies are till kicking themselves in the arse for giving Ibn Saud what they thought was worthless deserts. Kinda like parking Navajos on top of Uranium deposits!

to be fair in the early 1900's it was more of a "race" like to who get more control in the region the Brits tried to get in-land .. but the people fought them off (my great grandfather fought there) while the locals allied themselves quickly with Ibn Saud to form a united country before any some sort of colonization happen (hence why Saudi Arabia wasn't colonized) same was going to happen for Damascus .. the Arab revolt Army (mainly composed of Warriors from the Arabian Peninsula) RUSHED toward Damascus but the British and the French people reached there first since they got the military equipment superiority and we lost Syria to Colonization
