This video, produced by the RSH Nigeria hub, introduces key concepts and processes related to safeguarding.
Broadly, safeguarding means preventing harm to people in the delivery of development and humanitarian assistance. To do this, organisations focus on preventing and responding to the harms and abuses that happen as a result of their staff and representatives' behaviour as well as how programs are designed.

The Korean translation was completed by a team from Plan International Korea, including Jiseung Kim, and Korea Food for the Hungry International, with contributions from Soojung Lee. The translation was reviewed by the Director of the Policy and Education Center from KCOC (Korea NGO Council for Overseas Development Cooperation), which is the largest association of development NGOs in Korea responsible for implementing development and aid projects.
