Sans (/sænz/) is the brother of Papyrus and a major character in Undertale. He first appears in Snowdin Forest after the protagonist exits the Ruins. He serves as a supporting character in the Neutral and True Pacifist routes, and as the final boss and heroic antagonist in the Genocide Route.

This honestly makes more sense than the original. It fixes up the ploy hole of true resets/erasures and makes the remembering resets a bug instead of natural
Finally, the official (canon) take of RevertDust. So this one just basically Papyrus tries to keep Sans calm and Sans still keep on killing but less

there is another version of revertdust which, where sans regains his determination after the dusttale neutral ending happens, the player notices sans wears a copy of papyrus' scarf even tho papyrus still had his scarf so in the end of the game when you reach sans in the judgement hall, he legit has determination meaning he is more of a hellish nightmare but in the end, he fails to avenge his brother. also for the dusttale aus teachtale, gaster theory is kinda allowed because remember there was no way sans will remember genocides on his own, unless someone gave him the memories and made his mind set a bit twisted. so yeah gaster theory probably works for undertale something new and other aus where sans remembers the genocides and resets in general, because there is no way sans will remember 327 genocides or more just by having the memory alone
