Absolutely go one day! I feel like there are so many great Ren Faires across the country so you'll have plenty of options to choose from 🖤 hoping you go soon!

We don't have Ren Fairs in UK so it was good to watch your video, tfs 🧙‍♀️

We do? lol. There's a big one at Herstmonceux castle at the end of august! There's also Tewkesbury Medieval Festival at the beginning of July, and Medieval Fayre at Glastonbury Abbey at the end of April! There's also Celestial Moments which had it's first event last year, and also Fantasy Forest at Sudeley Castle towards the end of July.

@ResOwOnance I stand corrected! What I should've said was "We don't have Ren Fairs in NI" !! Well, there's a kind of a fair that happens at Carrickfergus Castle but people who go don't seem to be inspired to dress up in the themes. Love the culture mash that's grown with the US Ren Fairs.

We've had some patrons show up as Dr Who, Star Wars, and Star Trek. Same area also does Cosplay and steampunk weekend..I'm a jewelry whore (horder). I portray a pirate with my PiRats (ferrets) attend with me. My family helps a drink/food vendor at Ren Faires. We've been going to them since '96.

Is this ORF? Looks like it! I love being there, as a fellow introvert, being around likeminded fantasy lovers is so amazing. I remember sitting in the little chapel while a couple were preforming and seeing people around me in their Aradani ears and horns and it felt so surreal. For a moment we werent on earth. I chase that feeling every time I go. Also, your buttterflies looked perfect with your fit!

I love that corset/harness! Is that also Amazon?

Yes! The corset / dress came as a package! And if you're referring to my harness, yes that's amazon as well - however, I do plan on expanding my harness collection soon so I'm not always referencing amazon lol

Costume is not the right term for the outfits worn at the faire, the proper term is garb.
