Noted 1. Product has a purpose, it has a clear vision when it's made 2. Product has consumer who will use it and customer who will purchase it 3. Product create value for the consumer, customer, and also for the producer 4. Product lifecycle generally longer than project lifecycle 5. Product will be continuously developed and funded as long as it's still creating value, and everyone in the producer's organization must know and have a set agreement on what they define as a product

Thanks Josh for this information. I am trying to understand the concept of one product consisting of multiple products. For example if Banking Home loan product consists of multiple products such as interest rate, repayment procedure etc, does Home loan become the main product and interest rate, repayment procedure become different Product Areas? Thanks in advance.

You can say that the interest rate, repayment procedure, etc is the feature or the component (not the actual product itself) of the Home Loan product. Because at the end of the day, the customer pay for the overall Home Loan product, not just the component of ita.

There are many sub-products inside a tube mic. The tube itself can be a product. :D
