BPA is only one of the thousands of chemicals used which are persistent chemicals (extremely long lifetime) that also mimic hormones in the human body. Once BPA was banned, they changed the molecule slightly and started using that. Same issues and workarounds with designer drugs.

How much stronger is Polycarbonate Plastics against than something like steel?
I used recycled polycarbonate for my studio II project for the roof of my structure and my reviwer said that the material is much weaker than glass and will likely be have to be destroyed or repaired very often from UV rays and degradation he also mentioned that recycled poly carbonate is not healthy or sustainable as a building material. Thoughts?
