This is the dish i always cook, every other week. It is easy and delicious, i also buy frozen mixed veggies, then add diced potatoes.

I've cooked this once and it's really good. I've always wanted to learn dishes made from ground beef as we're not allowed to eat pork.
I cooked this every other week, baon ng mga anak ko sa work. But i use freshly chopped tomatoes instead of tomato sauce, and add lemon or lime juice. I also used yellow or red potatoes para hindi mushy. I enjoyed watching your videos. More power to you!

Ako din eh... Nkita ko Yan sa great loal ko noon, di ko lng na Tanong pangalan. But elem days ko niluluto ko yan Pag naiwan kmi ng mga kapatid ko kasi memorize ko na saka pochero...😋😋😋 Mas masarap may pasas. Di pwede walng pasas sakin.

Kaya pala Tagalog na Tagalog ang pananalita mo. Nagiisip kasi ko kung taga saan ka. Mostly cooks like you (or should I say Chef) hails somewhere in Central or Northern Luzon. Iba yung style ng picadillo samin, giniling din sya na baka or baboy may patatas at madaming kamatis pwede din lagyan ng mix veggies at itlog pero masabaw as in lumalangoy sa sabaw wala din tomato sauce pantimpla nya patis at paminta lang, sabi ng erpats ko yun daw ang pinapakain para sa mga mag bubukid kaya sya masabaw katambal nya pritong isda or tuyo masarap din sya kainin sa tag ulan

sa amin dito sa bulacan ang picadillo ay masabaw din na parang sinigang. meron syang mustasa, patatas, sili pangsigang at kamatis

Same sa amin, fresh tomatoes at masabaw talaga.
Favorite ng anak ko yan. The same way except that I put tomato paste. I threw excess fat though.

Picadillo is a dish usually found and sell in street of divisoria market, pritil market and usually found in slum area where i was raised and grew up.
It' s not always true that fresh veges are better unless you harvest those from your own backyard garden or purchased directly from the farm. Off season produce is MUCH FRESHER AS FROZEN. Those are quick frozen at the peak of freshness , taste , to keep its green color from chlorophyll and sweetness , for zero waste , and minimize transport problems. Different cuisines make picadillo in various ways . The Chinese incorporate rice wine , ginger , green onions for the benefit of ELIMINATING THE STRONG GAMEY (LANSA ) of beef . I tie the bundle of green onions for easy retrival after the cooking process (and ginger pieces ) , it has done its job. I use the same seasonings , it never turn out salty .
