I have a question on my workers compensation case I’m trying to settle but I don’t feel ok with my attorneys attitude towards my case the question is do you think is to late to try to see another attorney would help my attorney with my case because I don’t think he wants to fight for me.thank you

What happened when the employer have no work Restrictions?

ftra1987 Generally in California, if an employer cannot give you work within a doctor's "temporary" work restrictions, you should be entitled to "temporary disability benefits" from the insurance carrier until you have no restrictions. If the restrictions the doctor gives you are "permanent" work restrictions, then you should be entitled to a job voucher, which means training for a different kind of work that will not violate those restrictions and that you can do safely. This can be a tricky situation where doctors can disagree with each other and this situation can lead to other legal actions as well. What does major perm partial disability mean?

If your claim is in California, there is no real classification of whether Permanent Partial Disability is major or minor. Setting aside the term “major,” permanent partial disability or “Perm Partial Disability” as reflected on some checks sent to injured workers, means that there has been a report issued in your case by a doctor who says that your injury has cause permanent disability, (or residual impairment) from the work injury. In California, This will have a dollar value associated with the percentage of disability.
