i tried using MSAL to call an onprem Dynamics CRM Web API with ADFS, didn't work out so well, and had to get the oauth token manually.

Hey guys, this is fantastic, thanks for this. Can you point me at who I can reach out to for support migrating from ADAL to MSAL? We're almost done but having some issues.
IMHO: User.HasClaim(name/uri) OR User.HasScope(alias/uri) would be better, thanks
Anyway to connect to the local AD domain using MSAL?

No, MSAL supports modern token auth protocols only. AD uses Kerberos (and NTLM as a fallback) for auth. Those old protocols are not internet web friendly.
