What is Monkeypox and How Does it Spread?
Monkeypox is here, folks. Thousands of cases of monkeypox have been reported in countries where, historically, the virus is not endemic. But this virus isn’t new. In fact, Monkeypox is currently endemic in parts of West and Central Africa and scientists have known about the virus infecting humans since as early as 1970. So what changed? The Vitals team, along with epidemiologist, Dr. Anne Rimoin, are here to demystify the most common misconceptions about monkeypox, explain what we know about the virus (a lot) and how concerned you need to be. This video has been so helpful. I hear a lot of people saying things about monkey pox so it’s good to know some backed up, information from doctors who know what they’re talking about :)
For Arkansans, there are three spots in Northwest Arkansas are offering the monkeypox vaccine, including the health department clinic on Wimberly Drive in Fayetteville, Community Pharmacy on Emma Avenue in Springdale, and AR Care on Springdale Avenue in Springdale.

It seems like people have forgotten that condoms exist.
If one received the smallpox vaccine in the late 1960s, will one be immune from the monkey pox virus?
I wish you had discussed ACAM2000 & eczema vaccinatum, and any impacts on vaccination strategies/supply/risks. I've seen a lot of confusion around this!
