So this will be a new profession in law ??

Meet in the middle my foot. My friend got 40k today. She has a disabled kid and he got sick so she asked to leave. Because the boss didn’t believe her, she got fired. So she filed. Sounds fine however she’s played “boy cries wolf” to ditch work. I’ve been in the room. But because she has a disabled kid, the boss wanted to dodge going to court. And she’s a fine mom but she’s not mother of the year. His disability money goes to her car. She could get him the best help but no a free 30min yoga type teach. It pisses me off. It starts at 6k and later on after many negotiations later she now has 40k. Deductibles still vary but still. She didn’t even remember she filed before the call today. There’s no meeting in the middle. She has a better paying job now with benefits. I could get going above true cost but this mediating stuff is so over the top. The attorney threatened 90k or they walk out, just to scare. They treat these sessions like it’s real estate. Good people have to pay for bogus crap like this to happen. And the only people getting rewarded out these suits who take all day to talk behind closed doors.
