ABOUT THIS CHANNEL | I am a Christian wife to an exceptional man, a mother to beloved daughters, a diligent homemaker, and a businesswoman. But before all these roles I am a woman who belongs to The Lord. A daughter to the God of The Bible through the work of my savior Jesus Christ. On this channel, you will enjoy content designed to cultivate a rich experience of biblical womanhood. You will be encouraged to place your true hope and faith in the Lord. You will also hear hard discussions about accountability and personal responsibility for your life and what it produces. We embrace real character and integrity as much as we do physical beauty and femininity. We are called to be women of our Father's kingdom and to honor Him with our speech, actions, and our modest yet feminine dress. I would love to have you along for the ride as we embrace a manner of life that brings honor to the name of our Father and get to the work of accomplishing our mission.

I’m only 12 minutes into the video and I agree with you 100%. Before coming to know God - I had 2 children out of wedlock. Now that I’m married with 4 children total, the consequences of my actions never seem to stop. I have to deal with a man who abused me every week (through texting, phone calls, and dropping off my kids) And further more, I put my husband in a position to be reminded of my past actions every time he sees my ex. It’s hurtful to him as a man, although he never holds it against me. It also hurts my children, having to split their time between our homes. Forgiveness is given, but the consequences don’t just disappear. I wish I had someone like you in my life to guide me when I was much younger. Keep doing what you’re doing! Anyone who feels like you’re judgmental, is either ashamed or doesn’t want to be held accountable.

I wish we lived in a culture that valued & protected this wisdom for our young women… the sad truth is that many of us weren’t guided up in a way that made us aware of these things. While I have been married to my husband for 10 years and my only child is born of our marriage, we still had our fair share of mistakes with other people before we met. Even little encounters like those are not free from spiritual consequences since I feel convicted every time I hear content like this. Younger sisters please hear me: the pleasure of sexual encounters does not last, but how you see yourself will. Please protect your purity and I promise it’ll be the biggest reward to know that you’ve guarded your honor before the Lord ♥️

Agreed. I divorced my unbelieving spouse as the believing spouse. It wasn’t until a few years AFTER his death that I came to understand what I did was unbiblical in divorcing him. He didn’t want a divorce and I did just because he didn’t believe. I was very repentant. I am SO thankful to the Lord that He brought my current husband into my life.

What you said is biblical and backed by scripture in both videos and we see the consequences of error in today’s times. Marriage is important and was created to honor God so we MUST choose wisely and on the grounds of what a husband should look like biblically and what the husband represents. This is what the women in the body of Christ needs to hear 🙌🏾

I wish I would have seen this before I got married and subsequently divorced. I was not the one who filed but there are obviously still consequences to choosing the wrong partner. 1 Corinthians 7 (not so ironically) was the passage that was read in my parents’ church the day my now ex-husband came to meet them for the first time. I should have heeded the warning. I was the only one who really questioned that passage of the 4 of us. So a word of advice to women… don’t listen to what your boyfriend or even parents are saying if you feel God is showing you something else. I ignored it and now am suffering the consequences of having chosen the wrong spouse.

Wow! Thank you, Bindi, for another well thought out and well presented discourse on marriage and our responsibilities as players in this God given institution and contract. That being said, I believe marriage is more than the cold description above. It is a vibrant, loving, affirming creation God gave us to nuture, grow, and enjoy despite its challenges. My husband and I have been married 37 years. We both are products of dysfunctional, unbiblical marriages which each ended in our late teens. When we started dating, we decided, if we married, it would be for life and it would be grounded in God's Word. Before and after our wedding we educated ourselves through classes on marriage and parenting at our church and through observing and listening to our elder brothers and sisters who were married for decades and were thriving. We accepted that marriage is work, that it is also a blessing. We met the struggles and trials from outside forces as a united couple. We have challenged each other to grow in our individual roles. We have leaned on each other and on God throughout. One thing that surprised me was the second reason for divorce that also allowed a Biblical divorce and option for remarriage. Abandonment by an unbelieving spouse. Wow, all of the studying we have done, we missed that. My husband and I even looked it up together. It has sparked an interest in further study of this verse. Thank you.. I pray you have a very blessed Christmas. Without the reason for this holiday, where would we be?? 💖🙏🙏💖

This is an amazing video and very insightful in depths of the seriousness of marriage. As I was watching, I just finished reading 1 Corn 7, which Paul talks in-depth about staying celibate or being married. His reaction is the same reaction as the disciples, that it’s better not to be married, but in the same chapter that disciples said “Then it is better not to marry,” Jesus replies “Not all men can receive this saying.” Some are called to singleness. Some are called to marriage. Both are holy. We know this because we are waiting for the true Bridegroom and the marriage supper of the lamb.

Merry Christmas Joyce. I loved this video. If anything I think it should give younger sisters in Christ pause to enter into marriage with much wisdom and prayer. I generally find women that are looking for a reason to divorce are trying to cover for their own lack of discernment when they were looking for a mate.

  • @Envlo

I love what you said about approaching marriage with fear and trembling. In my religion only sexual immorality is an allowed reason for divorce. A spouse whether unbeliever or not abandoning you is considered separation. So we only have 1 reason. Im 29 and engaged and im “late” compared to many of my peers who are into their 2-4 years of marriage already but many of them are struggling. I approached marriage with great fear and humility before God. I knew this covenant is eternal and i cannot do it on my own. I surrendered before God’s feet and admitted that i know nothing and can do nothing and please please please guide me. You created the first marriage, you have seen millions of marriages, please choose for me and guide me. And that he did. Im so grateful and honored. I can see God’s hands all through my relationship and am sure this marriage will endure for eternity as God intended for me. But you are right. Many approach marriage flippantly and with shaky superficial emotions. I think if more people understood the depth and gravity of there marriage choices they would take it more seriously

I am taking down notes, praying and asking the Lord for forgiveness and everything. lol. I am married but wow, I have made so many mistakes. The Lord showed me that I have built my marriage on sinking sand the other day and I agree, but I also believe that in showing me that, He was reassuring me that if I hand my marriage over to Him, He will redeem it. Because with Christ, nothing is wasted and no situation is irredeemable. Another great edifying video Joyce! I could highlight so many wonderful points but I'll make a statement that pertains to my experience with my Christian friends and family. I have found that many of them are only Christians in the traditional context. A lot of them do not fully believe in the Word of God and have been taught they have grace in all things, including willful sin, and that Gods laws statutes and commandments are done away with, when even Christ said different in Matthew 5 KJV.

If what bring one happiness is against God's commandment, the fact that it brings the person happiness is not enough justification to engage in such an act. I will extend it to say that if the initiator of the divorce remarries, he commits adultery against the victim which may be a ground to dissolve the covenant of marriage rendering the victim of the divorce free. This is the point I am at in understanding the principles of marriage. May God grant us more understanding as we sincerely seek his face.

@@Jenny-fl5cn I see what you mean, but it only relates to the initiators of divorce. And again, there are no bible verses saying a person who was left by their spouse can’t remarry.

Anyone see the deeper meaning God is trying to convey with the breaking of the marriage? Remember marriage is two flesh becoming one as we ourselves join to Christ and become one. Marriage is a mirrored example of our relationship in Christ. That is why we are His bride. Now think of the two reasons divorce are allowed. Cheating and and unbeliever leaving you. What do you think then are two ways that we can be separated from God? Idolatry and unbelief. Matthew 22:37 Though shalt love the Lord your God with all your heart, all you soul and all your mind!

Yes thank you for sharing your wisdom, young sisters today really need this guidance. I did not have this guidance when I was younger and made many many mistakes as I was not taught how to be a godly woman, but now it is our turn, knowing these mistakes, to teach the younger woman the right way ❤.

And alas he died to his own dimise of his appeared Alcoholism and his wickedness also towards David. I've come to peace knowing God will make things work out for His good and your good.

Hi there. I've been married for over ten years now and I feel like I'm having trouble submitting and feeling like I don't know how to be the woman my husband fell in love with. I've lost myself in many ways especially when it comes to my physical upkeep. It's been really hard for me especially because I come from a family/culture of people who are pretty much anti-marriage and single motherhood and independent woman mindser. I don't how to find help/wise counsel pertaining to biblical marriage especially on the topic of submission and being a wife while also still being myself if that makes any sense.

10 min into the video and I agree. I just want to add to the consequences of divorcing as a biblical Christian, you will have to stay alone until your husbands death, or until the coming of Christ. That’s going to be a tough, and hard battle. If you feel you can’t go through that battle than the other option is to be reconciled with your husband.

There are no Biblical reasons for divorce. People are Deceived. It is death. Many are going to be Mislead. We are to remain single or RECONCILE with the first living SPOUSE only.

You know you mentioned that a great percentage of divorces are initiated by women, have you come across any information claiming that women experience a hormonal imbalance which cause them to “fall out of love” with there spouse? As a result, they seek a divorce from their husband…
