What all roles can you expect in banking if you have done lbs mim? Or are there any banking options?

Really nice and insightful video. I wanted to ask as you said that application period for the MBB or big 4 is around October and jobs strat around February, as a Masters in Management student do we apply to these graduate positions while at school before graduating? Or do we apply after graduating and start working the next year (cause graduating period is generally summers) ? Also, after graduating from a MIM program is doing an internship good Idea or should I only look for the graduate positions?

Hello Sayantan! Most students apply during the beginning of their Masters programme during the October period. Whether you apply to full time position or internship it's up to you, some people prefer to try their chances with full time and others prefer to try applying for MBB internships

Also, if they get an offer letter( or acceptance for job) in the month of February do the companies wait for the student to graduate and start full time upto lets say summers? Also thanks a lot for all ur Videos I got admit at Vlerick and ESCP and choose to go for Vlerick, Belgium for MIM this year. Hello Damilola! I personally prefer management, however I don't think there are significant differences between the two so I would suggest choosing the course with the syllabus that's most appealing to you

hey how did you talk about choosing consulting as a career in your LBS applications? did you already know exactly what role you wanted withing consulting? I'm not sure how to articulate this!

Do the MBB only hire candidates from LSE,LBS,UCL,Imperial? Can Masters graduates from Queen Mary or Aston get into the Big 4 or MBB ?

Realistically speaking, MBB usually hire predominantly from target schools however it is not impossible to get in coming from a non-target, you just have to try an unconventional route

London MBB offices are very competitive to get into, so even with an LBS degree it is hard to get an offer.
