The parliamentary republic system of governance in the country operates a successful all-encompassing public welfare system.
Some people say Iceland has no police and military. That’s not true anyway. People may think so as you won’t see any police or soldier for the whole year. They keep a low profile since the crime rates are extremely low with the per capita rate lowest in the world. Imagine people living in big cities having their doors unlocked and allowing their kids to go to school unaccompanied!
