Education should always go hand in hand with islamic education so they can be well balanced. *"Western" education alone has shown how destructive it can be to society. Western education is devoid of morality, humility, family values, God awareness and ethics on a human and societal level. You want skilled professionals who honour God and who actually care about the people around them as well and are not chasing the 💰 like the souless greedy western society where it's every man for himself, generally speaking. There are of course exceptions but holistically we can see these poorer countries have that beautiful humanity towards others that money cannot buy. *education has also been colonised where the west has taken credit for nearly all modern day advancements by ignoring and even erasing the history of contributions made by none European people.

Thank you for sharing your perspective-it’s like a warm nostalgia filter applied to a very gritty movie. Your hope is like getting a sunny postcard from a place that’s in the middle of a storm. It’s great that you’ve found a silver lining, but let’s talk about the full picture. Change in Afghanistan? If by “change” we mean turning back the clock and calling it a “vintage trend,” then sure, we’re seeing loads of change. For women who have watched their universities turn into ghost towns of their aspirations, “change” has been a series of doors slamming shut. These are the voices we need to amplify-the ones who can’t step out of their homes without stepping back in time. So, while your hope is heartwarming, let’s spare a thought for the women who’ve been stuck there for the last 30 years, especially those whose diplomas are now just wall decorations. Maybe their definition of ‘change’ is a little less hopeful and a lot more urgent. We should indeed hear from these women-their “ground zero” perspective might just be the reality check we all need. Because if hope is what we’re after, we need to start by facing the truths of those who are living it, not just viewing it.

First off, “BlackmanDaTraveller,” props for exploring a topic as significant as the education of girls in Afghanistan. It’s a subject that needs more light, especially from diverse perspectives. Your video, showing elementary-aged Afghan girls in a Kabul school, does offer a glimpse of hope - something we all desperately need. However, while the video asks a vital question - “What is life like for girls in Afghanistan right now and is it safe?” - it unfortunately falls short of addressing the full spectrum of reality. It’s like showing one sunny day and concluding the climate’s always perfect. The portrayal of these young girls receiving education in a privately funded school, though heartwarming, is not the complete narrative. It’s critical to remember that what we’re seeing is a privileged exception, not the norm. The harsh truth is, under the Taliban’s regime, the majority of girls and women - from 6th grade and above - are systematically denied education and professional opportunities. It’s like showcasing a few drops in the ocean and missing the vastness of the water body. As you already know, the Taliban’s history and ideology fundamentally oppose women’s education and empowerment. Their greatest threat isn’t an external force - it’s the voice of reason, intelligence, and education. For them, an educated society that offers diverse perspectives is a society capable of questioning, and questioning leads to the kind of dissent that can uproot their regime. As someone with a daughter, you of all people can understand the value of education and the doors it opens. Imagine those doors being forever closed for countless girls in Afghanistan. It’s not just about attending school - it’s about what education represents: freedom, opportunity, and the right to dream and achieve. So, while your video does shed light on a small certain aspect, it inadvertently paints an incomplete picture. It’s not just about whether girls go to school - it’s about whether all girls have the freedom to choose their paths, pursue their education, and live their lives without fear. That’s the conversation we need to have. That’s the reality we need to expose and challenge. We need more content that dives into these complexities, explores the wider context, and truly answers the critical questions about the state of women’s rights and education in Afghanistan. Your voice and platform have the power to make a difference, and I hope to see more of this critical conversation in your future content.

Thank you for your comments. These videos give me little to no hope for women in Afghanistan. They seem shut behind closed doors, hardly any woman walking on the streets. A bit of elementary education for a selected few is nothing. Taliban will never change.

As a Russian who has never been to Afghanistan, I think that Insha Allah, the government will provide education to girls in the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, over the past 20 years in Afghanistan there have been Kharijites blowing up schools and mosques. Muslims died, and most importantly children. The time limit, I think, was necessary.

Is it? This is a little private school. Girls of varying ages in one class room. Some girls are lucky. But what about all the others.

They still working on the curriculum which should be suitable for Muslims ofc, and trying to find the best way to separate males from female. So all they need is time, don’t be worried for them , and maybe you can stand for G*aza people especially the women!!! Or maybe leave Muslims alone :) @@sabinereynaudsf

thats not far fetched, Afghanistan is actually sitting on the largest reserve of Rare Earth, gold, lithium, copper, iron, probably the largest reserve of gem stones, and surprise surprise: oil and gas. Afghan will be more prosperous than Dubai as they have a decent population size (but not too large) and they are hard working people

Few months some Muslim scholars from UK 🇬🇧 visited Afghanistan 🇦🇫 in their meeting they asked the Taliban about woman education. They were told that they are not against women to continue their education. As right now they want women to finish 6th grade and choose their field , either in medical field or teaching. Right now they don’t have enough funds to provide for teachers to teach or enough teachers . As most of them fled the country. So they are working towards. They want everything to be done according to sharia law. They requested the uk scholars to helped them but not financially. They need teachers , professors, doctors and nurses to provide proper them training . The former government didn’t do anything for afghans , instead they stole money 💰 and send their children abroad for education while poor afghans didn’t have food to eat . So they was a. Lot of corruption was going on. in two years they did more than what the other government didn’t do in 20 years. We need to give them credit for their hard work and chance to prove themselves

They have money for all these Quran schools, but no money for women's education? And why did they close all the private universities? 😂
