for me Kpop is the best kind of celebrity i mean, you'll get trained in EVERY category whether it's acting, dancing ,singing even hosting! your popularity isn't limited to Korea you'll get to experience stardom to it's highest degree even actors and actresses are your fans! i also like the fact that you don't have to be korean to be a kpop trainee :) the only downside is the management itself sometimes it's too strict. but if you're lucky enough to find a kind manager or company then you're set for life

  • @guanshuowang4254

Yes, I think being an idol is really a great career, there are a lot of idols who are not all from South Korea, and a lot of dreams before becoming famous across the ocean to do exercises in South Korea, accept the boring strict training, step by step to the fans. So I think the idols really need a strong belief, because they can stick to it and finally make their debut really their dream, and it is their desire before their debut that makes them understand the value of fans, which is one of the reasons I like K-pop. Most of the time I think between fans and idols is really a two-way to go, they are after a lot of exercises step by step the public light, which will make more and more fans love them. However, it is a pity that many unlucky trainees do not get the opportunity to make their debut through hard work. This may not be their own problem, or there may be a lot of unequal and oppressive treatment that makes them feel hopeless and want to give up. So it's really important for idols to have an agency that respects artists.

I'm glad Kpop fans make beginners guides, I really need them. Before today I've only heard of BTS, Blackpink, and Twice just due to the occasional reccomended youtube vids. As for full songs (until tonight), I had only fully heard Butter, Dynamite, and I Can't Stop Me. As a music fan, I needed to diversify my music lists. You've inspired me, in a sense, to broaden my music by immersing myself in Kpop. As a fan, (or if anyone else has an answer to this, feel free) could you recommend some easier listening groups or songs? Stuff not too jammed with hard dubstep. I can enjoy dubstep, but I enjoy the easier stuff to start with. Thanks in advance! 👍

Small correction; K-pop isn’t Korean POP music, it is Korean POPULAR music. Popular music isn’t a genre, but has to do with accessibility. Popular music isn’t simply ‘music that’s popular’ but music that is made for the masses, which is why it includes multiple genres like rock, pop (the genre this time), rnb, edm, etc. So technically all Korean popular music is K-pop. U prob knew this since u already showed many different genres and artists but I still wanted to say it 😂 It’s still weird to label some artists as K-pop for me tho, because often K-pop is associated with the specific idol industry 💀
