Is cornea transplant a safe option? Do i need to wear specs after the surgery I had my c3r in 2012-13 respectively. Used rgp lens for 5 years 2014-19. Not using rgp lens or any other lens from last 2 years because of high irritation and redness in the eyes. Doctors are recommending me scleral lenses. Pls suggest sir.

Not at all bro. Transplant is the very last option for treating keratoconus. It's risky and anytime it can cause rejection to the cornea. It's very risky and the very last option for keratoconus

I am a keratoconus patient of age 45. Did cornea transplants for both eyes at the age of 18. My only advice is when diagnosed at early age, avoid rubbing your eyes. Move to homeopathy medicine to reduce eye allergies and there are homeopathy medicines to stop the growth or even reverse it.

You have to go to a good certified, genuine, experienced homeopathy doctor. Not like Dr. Bhtras and other money making doctors. Good doctors will help deal with the problems that worsen the keratoconus like allergies that lead to rubbing of eyes etc. They can also stop it from getting worse. But once surgery is done, you cannot reverse it but you can avoid it from getting worse.

Bro go for Scleral lenses. You will feel major improvement.

Am 29, got C3r done when I was 25 I find the vision is stable till now but from that time am facing issues to drive at night. But when I use rigid lens which was advices by my doctor I can drive at night, would like to know will there be any solution to overcome this without using Rigid lens

C3R is not for clearing eye sight.. it is for stopping the growth of keratoconas. And yes he can give exam in March.

@@anmoltaneja9655 actually mere eyes retina me kuch problem hai doctor clear nhi bata rahe hai jitne jagah mene dikhaya hai doctors bolte hai eyes ke parde(retina) me jaala(nets) hai jiska ilaj nahi hai aise bola hai sab jagh

Meri umar 25 saal 5month hy kal mn ne pheli bar test karwaya to mujhe karetoconus nikla hy doctor ne kha hy k cxl kawao .ap khe rahe the k 25 saal k bad karetoconus ki progressing kam ho jati hy meri age 25 se zeyada ho gai hy ab mujhe abhi cxl krwana chaieye ya 6 month wait kr k dhek ln shahid khud ba khud ye rok jae age ki waja se
