Amen. The enemy is going to be present. Just know God is going to bless you. Psalms 23:5 -Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Laying on of hands part of the service is necessary because it is associated with the receiving of the Holy Ghost. Acts 8:14-19 -Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. Laying on of hands can be for authority and position. Also. It can help reveal something to a person who is getting laid hands on. Acts is about the giving and receiving of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands. As the gospel makes progress from Jerusalem and Judea, to Samaria, and then beyond, to the ends of the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8 -But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. God is pleased to use the apostles' laying on of hands as a visible marker and means of the coming of the Spirit among new people and places first in Samaria and then beyond, in Ephesus.
