I’m staying there right before Labor Day this year, can’t wait. I’m doing a 65 mile backpacking trip on the Tahoe rim trail and looking forward on staying in a new place.

Great job filming and communicating! We are doing our first trip to Lake Tahoe this summer and we are so excited!! We will be camping but if we weren't this is our kind of place we would stay. We love breweries we visit a lot of them on our channel thanks we have added this to our stops and of course the baked bear if you look u will see we also find lots of great desserts! An adult Heavenly ticket on the weekend is 225.00 a day. If you plan on spending many days in Tahoe skiing I recommend the Epic Pass which covers most resorts in Tahoe and many other resorts all over the US and Canada

April 2023. Remember not every year in the California mountains and in CA for that matter is the same weather wise, always check road conditions. I would say in some areas. It’s always good to bring chains with you if you are traveling to the mountains here in CA. Chains aren’t required for a 4 wheel drive car with all terrain tires. I think also all wheel drive with all terrain tires is fine too. Otherwise I would always carry chains, a shovel, and extra blankets and non perishable food in your car traveling to any mountain. I know this is more of an answer than you needed ha ha hope this helps. If your headed there and are staying at Basecamp have a fun time! 😁
