Hal C. Dietz, MD, is Director of the William S. Smilow Center for Marfan Research at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Victor A. McKusick Professor of Medicine and Genetics at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Investigator in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. A current member and former chair of the Foundation's Professional Advisory Board, Dr. Dietz's specialties include pediatrics, cardiology, and genetics.
