What is induction heating. How does it work. See live demonstrations.

Ғылым және технология

Alternating current flowing through a coil generates a magnetic field. The strength of the field varies in relation to the strength of the current passing through the coil. The field is concentrated in the area enclosed by the coil; while its magnitude depends on the strength of the current and the number of turns in the coil.

    2:25 wrong, and you contradict yourself by claiming that the "component delivers heat to the workpiece" when you even previously clarified for viewers (though you appear to have no conception of science), that the only heat generated is by currents in the workpiece 1:54. dum dum

    Does it really matter? What difference does it make if heat is delivered by their product, or if heat is created externally with their product? Your metal rod gets hot all the same.

    Shouldn't enough current to make a part red hot, conduct throughout the entire part enough to make it difficult to hold with your bare hand? Similar to grinding a piece of metal on a grinding wheel, could you explain?

    if he held it for a few more seconds it would start burning him. that's why he puts it in the water. it heats it so fast that the heat hasn't traveled that far down the bar yet.

    Can induction heating be used in mining for iron, iron ore must be melted to separate from the rest of mined ore to make steal?

  • @texanplayer7651

    @texanplayer7651

    In case you are wondering, aluminum smelting requires induction. Your bike, the metal parts of your car, your cans of food... all of this required electricity to be made, not directly fossil fuels. But unfortunately, for raw iron ore to make into steel, we have yet to come up with something.
