Sir, I am an octogenarian Sr citizen and if I remember correctly, before 1962 indo china war and Hindi chini bhai bhai days china used to recognize entire kashmir as integral part of India but changed its position on kashmir being disputed tertiary to being openly pro Pakistan, thereafter. If china can change its position on kashmir why can't India do that on Tibet, which anyway was foolish decision of Nehru, imposed on India.

China has never experienced India's agression in its western border and took India's one sided nehruvian policy as it's weakness. Now it is Witnessing and will be a severe headache in the long run.

Aadi, You are right. We should take decisive action. However, we have to understand that, the USA wants to remain on top and for that, it wants a full-scale India-China war. This will weaken both countries.

It was a blunder by the Govt at that time when India accepted that Tibet is a part of China, and why BJP is not making this an issue in Indian politics. Now we should be bold enough to make this correction and also don't agree to one china policy. Declare that Taiwan is an independent country. Then China will come to negotiate with India and we should get some concessions

Good analysis Aadi…Good that Modi 3.0 is starting to exploit China’s weaknesses - Taiwan, Tibet, South China Sea and Malacca…India should seriously, slowly and methodically up its game…I believe it will be in India’s national interest to align more overtly with the west - join Aukus; militarise QUAD, have strong interoperability while delicately avoiding a formal military alliance, rapidly developing our economy and military…So far the Government has done a decent job but we have a number of fault lines and are vulnerable till we get to a $10T GDP and corresponding military capability, hopefully by 2035…Unfortunately if the west and Putin do not reconcile, which looks difficult, Putin and Xi will get closer and at some point our interests will be affected, so we need stronger partnerships - we should not become what is UK, Japan or Australia to the US, but something on the lines of the France model, while not a NATO ally…my views and I am very open to options, choices and timelines but resolutely anchored in India’s national interest in a realistic and real-politic manner…Jai Hind…Jai Bharat…

All democratic countries of the world should raise their voice to free Tibet from Chinese occupation.

China has to be put to its original size. The important point been that Tibet must have full autonomy.

This is /was the biggest blunder of Nehru that he betrayed Tibbet as it was a protectorate state of India. In stead of helping Tibben, Nehru supported China and allowed Tibetans massacre and also supplied 50000 tonnes of rice to Chinese army. Carry on Modi ji .
