Hi did you apply on you own or through any study agency? Because I was just wondering does applying through study agency lower chances of getting any scholarships as study agents get commission form university from our first years tuition fees. If so will not the university prefer to give schilarahip Or Ta/ ra to those who didn't apply through stydy agency

I applied on my own. As it goes, IU doesn't offer much scholarships to Grad students. For TA/RA you will need to build your rapport with professors who can give you one. I don't think if coming via an agency or not matters a lot.

Is it necessary to complete GRE to get into IUB for MS in CS or MS in DS ? As the university suggests that it is not a mandatory requirement. And may I know the requirement of IELTS or TOEFL scores to get into IUB. Thank you

What is the time for i20 after college acceptance, I got accepted from Webster university even after submitting bank balance certificate i haven't received yet in one month.

You generally get in within 2-3 weeks. You should mail the university admission department and check the status.

My i 20 shows funding for 12 months ...is it always necessary that 9 month funding is shown on it?

Na people say its 9 months cause its generally considered an academic year. Basically funding for a year.

Should we just sign or should we also write the date on I20?

The sign and the date both are required.

What does instate+10% mean ? Personal fund, Family Fund Are they same?? Can you clarify about personal fund here in the comment section ?

Are you talking about the college tution fees? In USA, fees are generally 2 types: in-state for students who are from the state the college is located in, and out-of-state for every other out of state students (including international students). For me yes, personal and family funds were the same. Generally, personal funds will be the funds you show in your name and family funds will be ones shown in your parents name.
