what does home mean to you?
Is this home?
I’ve been to a lot of places.
I’ve made a lot of things.
Maybe home hasn’t been one of them.
What is home?
Is it the community?
The place where one can rest easy?
The feeling of belonging?
The memories?
I’m still trying to figure it all out.
So here I am saying I don’t know.
But what I do know is
whoever I’m with,
wherever I am,
whatever I’m feeling,
I want to confidently say,
“this is home.”
