When a Community is Marginalised in their Own Land (Note :- the Areas of todays Darjeeling District, Kalimpong District, Major Parts of Uttar Dinajpur, Many Portions of Alipurduar District were Never Ever Areas of Any Indian Kingdoms but were Annexed by the then East India Company and thereby became British Territories. An Additional Information :- Kumaon and Garwahl were also Territories of Nepal incorporated into the British Territory and were Never under any Indian Kingdom) Discriminated and Branded Infiltrators, it is Obvious that the Community will React to Express their Disappointment and Attempt to Preserve their Distinct Identity. This is the Issue for the Demand for a Separate State of Gorkhaland within India. It must be known to all that though the Name is Gorkhaland, it is Not a Communal Demand. All Communities within the Territory Demanded for Gorkhaland shall be Part and Parcel of this Separate State. Gorkhaland is a Demand for Administrative Separation from Bengal and the Movement is Not Against Bengalis.

To make it more understanding, these gorkha people of India want to create a state where the citizens can have their own culture, language, govt. , proper infrastructure and the most vital thing is to be recognized as Indian nepali (gorkha) people not some nepal people. Most of the people sees them as Nepal's citizens.. Honestly I've seen nepal is recruited more than the Indian gorkha in Indian Army, due to which the actual Indian gorkha youth is unable to get the government schemes.

It deemands not only two district, but also cover some part of jalpaiguri, alipurduar. And not duar, it is duars Keep it up brother.

Gorkhalend banana jaroor hai

Lepcha (Rongkup) and Yakthung (limboo/Tsong) are original inhabitant of these lands. They speak Lepcha and Yakthung languages, and have their own distinct Script, cultures, traditions, and ethnicity and religions. They follow their Matriarchal religions and worship nature and believe female sovereign gods. They are not Gorkha or ethnic nepali, thus why they are demanding gorkhaland, it has no historical aspects. They must ask in the name of something that related to Lepcha and Yakthung and other indigenous tribes. And related to Lho-Men-Tsong sum as previously these land were part of Sikkim. People need very deep critical research there. Hope indigenous tribes get their historical rights 🥰❤😇
