Janet was pretty much blacklisted from the industry when HE was the one who ripped off the piece that exposed her. He didn’t do enough to defend her at that time. Janet has said that they’re friends again and have moved on from the situation. But people have noticed a pattern of Justin just letting women get dragged through the media while he either capitalized off of it or stayed silent. I think he did publicly apologize to both Britney and Janet in an Instagram post like 2 years ago…not sure if it’s still up though.

Methinks someone is going through a mid-life crisis and can't handle the fact that it's not 2003 anymore.

It kills me when incredibly wealthy people, who have all the means to have a driver, a chauffeur, a handler, security people, any car at their beck and call 24/7, drive under the influence. They can pay for ANYTHING. They could call up any type of taxi, Uber, Lyft like walk up to someone and say I will buy your car, and they have the money to do that. For real. It's truly upsetting.

I lost respect for him after a friend of mine was an assistant photographer for a photo shoot for his golf stuff. I remember when he won an award for a song that was inspired by his grandparents. When he mentioned that in his acceptance speech he scolded the audience for not applauding. He became hugely famous at 15, and stayed that way for over a decade. He's been surrounded by Yes Men and has gotten away with basically being an entitled brat. Now he's desperately trying to cling to relevance.

I seriously thought that he went downhill many years ago. I think he’s a legend in his own mind. Too bad for him. I hope he gets help

It’s a big problem these days too, I have had 2 people in my life hit by a distracted driver, my best friend who was 8 months pregnant at the time & passed away right in front of me, and my older brother who was becoming a fire fighter is now left in a wheelchair with TBI, he will never be himself again. Zero tolerance, people who don’t pay attention to the road while driving should be charged with manslaughter or attempted manslaughter with a deadly weapon every time.

JT is a scuzbucket. I mean let's be for real. He was flirtatious and inappropriate with other women while married to his current wife(which he had his PR team post his 'apology' for) after video footage was released, he did a freaking number on Britney(to be fair, this was not just on him she had been through alot) and now he is drinking(more than 1 martini girl) and then driving drunk while having all the resources available to get a safe ride home. then the first thing he said(apparently) was how this was going to ruin his tour. wow. how about thank God you didn't ruin a life by killing someone while driving drunk(while maybe having other substances in his system... 👀). i just have had it with this man, he has had multiple chances to redeem himself. that being said, i hope he does learn his lesson from this. sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom. no one is perfect and people make(multiple) mistakes. that's just my two cents. i know hard core JT fans ain't gonna like this comment and are about to yell at me! lol.👀

If I'm not mistaken, people woke up and realized that Justin really did come out of that situation unscathed, while Janet Jackson was blackballed from the industry. I think this together with the Britney Spears thing made people think twice about Justin, and how much he got away with over the years.

ETOH breath is a real thing. It comes from the lungs as the body is ridding itself of the excess it can't metabolize. Diacetic acid is the compound responsible for the odor by the process of oxidation. The more ETOH and shorter the time from drinking, the more diacetic acid (alcohol vapor) is expelled subsequently increasing the BAC percentage. As far as the legal stuff goes, I don't know a thing except that most states have 0.08% as their DWI point

Watching as I type this. (5 mins. in) I listened to Britney Spear's audio book read by Michelle Williams, if I remember correctly, because it was to hard for Britney to read it all aloud herself. She explains this in the opening of the audio. I cried the entire book for what she went through since she was introduced to the public. Britney should never apologize for telling her truth and experience but she is such a gentle soul that I am not surprised she did. As for Timberlake, I was never a fan of him, even in the days of the boy bands period. He just didn't catch my interest. Also Robert saying 'weed' set me off. 😂🤣 "Whheeeeddd"

Most out in the field sobriety tests are not admissible in court which is why they always make you do the in station versions. Many dui lawyers advise their clients to refuse those for that reason. Lots of states are implied consent stated tho so if you refuse the field tests they can automatically hit you with certain punishments because you’ve agreed to take them by registering for a state’s license or in some states using their roads

The detailed descriptions in police reports are pretty standard. It seems kind of weird, but that's how they have to write them. Speaking as an OTR trucker who spends many hours a week on the road, I can tell you that the vast majority of car drivers (truckers call non-truckers "four wheelers" lol) are on their phones, usually holding them in their laps. From the vantage points of our trucks, we can see everything people are doing in their cars. It's alarming but it feels like a futile problem at this point. It's also very disturbing, the number of truckers who are on their phones and HOLDING the phones (this is very much illegal and they are risking their whole livelihoods when there are great phone mounts for trucks). It only takes a split second to take someone's life. If a trucker causes a deadly accident this way, it means automatic prison time. It's a crazy gamble to take. EDIT: As far as not doing the breathalyzer, it's often advised that the person not to do that at the scene. This means the BAC will be lower once you get to the police station/ hospital if you have to submit to other types of tests, like a blood test. It also can mean the difference between a suspended license, whether or not a person blows at the scene. In the US, the DUI/ DWI laws vary by state.

Quite sad. But you know..... I am more of a JC Chasez fan. In my delusion, I feel like JC should be where JT is right now, success wise.

Yes he just rubs me the wrong way. He seems like one of those IRL used to be popular high school boys who peaked and a decade or two later still think of themselves as better than everyone and party way past the point of cute to relive their glory days but everyone else has moved on and just thinks they are sad. I think he needs a reality check. He was know for his charisma. Use it to his advantage and be a tv personality. Personally I think the last thing he did that was he was great was the Facebook movie. Maybe he can sober up and play a washed up superstar in a gritty new show. Honestly that’s his best hope. Or host a talk show or be a judge on one of the many talent shows.

There’s no excuse to drive drunk. He could have killed someone

Tinfoil hat theory that I heard: He got the DUI/arrested on purpose to skip out on his tour that he knew would flop and collect the insurance money

talking while your driving as long as the camera is mounted is no different than talking to a passenger in your car,pretty much the same as chewing gum and walking.who tf can't talk and drive😂

Most of his movies weren’t the greatest of commercial successes, so that industry lowkey shut him out after a certain point because people weren’t buying JT the actor

I was there at the peek of his career, I remember seeing him at Madison Square Garden with 100k people and you best believe this man is talented. I am heartbroken to see what is happening because I know that drugs and alcohol have a hold on him and it's a Trainwreck to watch, I hope he gets the help he needs because there's still alot left in this world for him and it would be a waste to end it ALL this way.

Totally agree….so sad and people are so harsh and mean when others go through hard times….hopefully he gets help and snaps out of it.

Your “smoking a little whheeeed” reminded me of the caterpillar in the animated Alice in Wonderland. lol Also, I think it depends on the police municipality about using your phone when driving but it’s generally discouraged (I live in Texas).

It's illegal to even touch your phone when driving in Australia.

Each state is different, but in California you can refuse a breathalyzer test on site and get a blood test done. Some people advise doing this since it's more accurate, but also gives you more time for it to go down 😬 The breathalyzer is just a screening tool anyway. You can still be charged with a DUI with your blood alcohol level reading lower than 0.08. It's partially up to the officer to arrest. For example, you can't take a breathalyzer for being on other drugs, but can still be arrested if your driving suggests you're a danger to yourself and others.

People refuse breathalyzers hoping enough time passes between being arrested and having blood drawn hoping that their BAC drops significantly.

I feel sadness for his children. They may be shielded from this now but the Internet is forever. What goes around comes around.. 🤷🏾‍♀️🙎🏽‍♀️

It's highly illegal to drive whilst touching your mobile phone in Australia. A massive fine and 5 points taken off your driver's license is the penalty. We have camera's at most intersections to capture this behaviour and they were all installed during lockdown. Victoria had an extensive lock down so no intersection is left without a camera.

He lost popularity when it came out what happened to Janet jackson was his fault then let the media distroy her and did not entebbe apologize and how he did britney, and how he was potrayed in her book. Also him trying to pressures a coworker into sleeping with him letting his team imply it was her then a video come out with him trying to be all over her

The US has gaslit me into thinking filming full stories while driving is normal. Anytime I see it my anxiety hits the roof but no one seems to mention anything! In a video I saw the other day the lady was talking to the camera the whole drive, with one hand holding a coffee mug. Just like a normal coffee mug that you can't put down anywhere in a car 😅 it makes me not want to drive thinking these are the people I'm on the road with.

I like that Robert clarified that children are not persons 🤣🤣
