True, but a lot of it is already delivered in BDO, crimson desert is upgrade on already great platform and combat system just in a different direction. Biggest downfall of BDO is lore, the storry line is meh…

I always decide for myself about games I am really interested in, and also want to go in COMPLETELY blind without any pre-conceived ideas and opinions of other people like reviewers.

how? Literally most of the features they show in the trailer alrdy exists in their MMO: BDO. If you showed BDO to anyone right now they would say its fake cause no way a game has EVERYTHING in an MMO. But yeah u can do like anything in BDO and has the best mmo graphics of all time as well as best combat 😅

Looks impressive! hope it delivers... Could be the ultimate fantasy experience. Looks like a combination of every successful fantasy/medieval game there is. Hopefully it's not overloaded with generic content

I think the issue with a lot of games that are so large with so many mechanics is that they end up being flat instead of deep. I’m hoping that isn’t the case with this game, it looks fun to play

I agree - at some point they can only end up feeling repetative but lucky for me, I'm down with repetition. I think that's why I like long games in general

Games like this give me hope for this generation. I think it's only a matter of time before we start getting blown away and seeing the leap that has been missing so far this generation. The matrix demo that was displaying unreal engine 5 that blew us away, we still haven't seen games reach that potential yet.

Alan Wake 2 is amazing though. Playing it on a rtx 4090, it's insane.

​@@sergeoh735it's actually very precise, it's just that most abilities do splash damage. They took a more grounded design this time around. Thats why if any other dev showed off this stuff I'd be skeptical, but CD is basically BDO 2.0 with a story and slower combat.

One of my most anticipated games. I really hope it's good.

I REALLY HOPE they are able to release this and that it's not just a huge money pit never to see the light of day. It looks way too good to be developed this much just to be scrapped. This game looks to be one of those games that has included ABSOLUTELY everything, but properly. Let's hope hard 😅

Man! I really hope this game delivers. It looks like a great time.

I absolutely love the over the top wrestling moves in a medieval fantasy game it’s so ridiculous that it’s actually awesome. I was really looking forward to crimson desert finally coming out, but Dragons Dogma 2 will do for unique fantasy rpg this year. It looks like it’s improving on lots of things from dragons dogma 1. I’m hoping that we either get mounts to move around faster or fast travel for people who don’t want to travel by foot everywhere which slowed that game down way too much. Another thing I hope they fix is make it more clear which quests are main quests and which side quests as well as a level indicator so you actually know which quests you can do early game instead of getting your ass beat by every quest cause you’re underlevelled.

Dragon Dogma 2 needs a companion combo mechanic with skills also a stagger bar and finisher animations, or it won't be anything revolutionary. i played the first dragon dogma, and for its time, it was amazing, but with new games, bringing higher standards like grand blue, rebirth, etc now a days you need combo skills like rebirth synergy system and different type of finishers like Tales of Arise and you have an over the top combat A mix of tales of arise and rebirth combat is what we need

I dont like the combat, and would tone the excessive effects down a bit tbh. Not because it doesnt look good, it does, but its really distracting and it actually makes me a bit dizzy lol

the game has a lot of potential. I’d rather them let it cook for longer so that it isn’t a rushed out mess

I first heard of Crimson Desert several years ago, the same time as I heard about The Awakener: Risen (then called Arise of Awakener), as both were considered to be spiritual successors to Dragon's Dogma. A couple years went by, and though there were occasional updates, they still haven't come out... but the ACTUAL Dragon's Dogma 2 was announced. And now, a couple years after THAT, DD2 is only a couple months away. And not even a release date for the games that have been in development longer. Weird!

@@ThxCoreHunter Weird. I heard about that game but figured it was a different one entirely because it's a roguelike rather than a fully open world RPG like Risen was supposed to be. Also, Risen's 2022 trailers tease features that apparently aren't in Forgotten Oath, like other classes and riding dragons/airships. I did a little research and it's not entirely clear if they are two different games in the same franchise, or if Risen's never coming out and the studio just used all its assets to make Forgotten Oath instead.

@@ericspratling9252 Sadly no they changed the game from the ground up while keeping the multiple heroes concept. Sadly it's not worth it in it's current state with only 3 heroes. Maybe look into it in 2 to 3 years when there will be more content. If there will be in the first place

Take the extra year. This game looks gorgeous from what we've been shown so far, and if it just takes more time to keep it that way, by all means. Rather that than this crash and burn from being forced out early.

Dragons Dogma 2 is coming soon. This game does not need to come out for at least another year because its a big reminder of it. It would compete with the sales so i wouldn't drop it this year.

I sure hope they add a character creation aspect. I can't imagine why they would make a game this big and lock you into one character.

As someone who used to worked for Pearl Abyss, the production of the game is delayed due to a few sexual assault scandals in the office and a lot of people have quit the company in the past few months. Both DokeV and CD are delayed due to that.

With all the stutters and framedrops from the trailer alone, it makes me think. What if the delay is not because they need more time to finish the game, but they're banking on a 5000 series NVIDIA GPU to release in 2025 so that there will be GPU that is capable to run this game at 60 FPS. This is also the reason why they can't say an exact release date or even a year.

I'm hype as hell for this game , and I want them to take their sweet time on this. We don't care about delays as long as the final product is good .

@JorRaptor are they told anything about the online part? After its turned from MMORPG to single player action adventure game they told it the online part is gonna separated and some stuff can be transfered from single player to the online part where we create our own character. How they shortly describe the online part it sound it like read dead online or GTA online. They drop it this or still work it on it?

Game looks great but I am worried about what seems to be framerate issues?

The fact that they are trying to make it a 'you can do ANYTHING' game, is a big red flag for me.

Crimson Desert was my most anticipated game since it was announced, but, honestly, after release date had been pushed further and further so many times, I simply gave up on this game. I don't believe it will come out. I believe that developers wanted to make a decent game, but they probably tried to bite more than they can chew. Their other game, DokeV, also had been delayed for unknown amount of time, so it looks like Pearl Abyss (developers) are struggling.

This game has always looked impressive and Creedish to me, but I'm not getting my hopes up and I'm looking forward to playing it... next year.

This games feeling is like if you heard about Skyrim coming out. You feel like it would be insane but u don’t know if it will flop cuz of how crazy and cool the ideas look

This looks fun! Something missing from most of these RPG type games

Let it cook. We need games to be ready when they're done and not half baked.

it looks like the perfect game. that means i'm automatically skeptical that it will look and play anywhere near what that footage looks like. expectations that the game will look like that at release should remain very low.

Hoped you could make your own character, but oh well. It looks cool tho!

Also in case ppl dont know, this is black desert made single player with more additional features but the combat and style is black desert, even the horse when dashing is the same. The world seem a lot BDO too.

I really hope this game pans out. If they manage to pull off the mechanics showcased, and have at least a decent story, then this could be something really special.

It's a real bummer considering it has been in development for so long. The delay from 2021 I guess to switch to UE5 okay, but then you drop a crazy amount of gameplay, which to me, means look we're almost done then push back over another year seems a bit odd. Really curious why the delay.

it seems like a modern era assassin’s creed game minus the assassins (which is kind of already a modern era assassins creed game) that’s hopefully not bad

This game is a great example of showing off a game that never should have been shown off until much later. I would argue its still to soon to have seen something. This game does look cool and have a lot of stuff in it. However, who knows at this point when anyone will actually be able to play it.

This is the only game I'm looking forward to playing

I've been following this game since 2021. It looks really good, honestly a little too good but I'm staying positive about it. To me it looks like a combination of the Witcher, Fable, Dragon Age, Dragon Dogma and multiple other fantasy games. Including elements from Assassin's Creed. I look forward to it.

So far the game looks great and almost complete, but the only thing that all the trailers show is the large amount of framerate drops. I'm guessing that is their main development focus at this point.

It had to be ready by May to avoid clashing with AC Red in the Fall. I think that’s why it went to 2025.

I love everything about this game, but…………I think it’s too good to be true. I think it’s delayed because it was just a vertical slice to gauge interest and they are actively working on it now….its like The Day Before on a bigger scale.

They better releae this game it looks very epic and dope one of a kind and if its as top tier as it is this will be game of the year when it comes out
