I can discern any bad shovelware game from good, but it's not even helping, i have to scroll for so long to find something worth looking at the details for. Can't enable a filter for this either. It's comparable to steam after greenlight opened the floodgates

Yes, when choosing a game you really have to be careful not to fall into a trap. I look at the rating and the name of the developer each time. How come Sony doesn't control the quality of the products? Before it was a nice store, now it's just a portable gaming trap

I know right, I know Sony do have a certification process, but its mainly to see if the app/game contains any viruses etc. They should check the quality too!

Alot of these games are also using a ton of AI generated images for their games.

I'm pleased you did this video...I wouldn't buy them, this is the way to highlight this bollocks. You need to do the same with those other sims from 404 Games. The flight sim games (cargo plane sim and helicopter sim) You can see them a mile off with their keyword random name generated titles

I thought i was the only one that noticed this, but yeah these shovelware games are annoying when I am looking for a deal for a game such as a game under 5$ or something. I can't believe playstation would allow these terrible games on the store considering the fact that they have the same quality of a mobile game.

Today's generation of console gamers don't care about the quality of indie games any more, their only interest is 'earning' a super-simplistic 1000g (or the PS equivalent) before moving on to the next throwaway game....and wannabe developers absolutely have cottoned on to the fact that you can shovel out any old cheap crap with a 30 minute lifespan to appease these people. After all, how many times have you seen a review with: "great game. Very easy 1000g-3000g in under 60 mins". 5 stars....and scratched your head in disbelief at the mentality of people who judge the value of their purchases in this manner! I blame the introduction of achievements and/or fake completion gimmicks for the downfall of game quality because back in the day, a game's merits were determined on it's overall quality and you absolutely could not get away with releasing any old crap....and that included the low budget £1.99/£2.99 Mastertronic titles.

All those bad simulator games is probably made by midnight works which probably just with a different company name probably most of them atleast specially that border patrol simulator that looks like it’s made by them and you know a game is bad when the game icon is AI generated unless that company actually puts hard work into the game and make it look good and all that and maybe somepoint PlayStation will probably crackdown on all those supermarket games
