This series is an introduction to wine tasting based on the method taught at Associazione Italiana Sommelier (Italian Sommelier Association) but it is more than vocabulary. It is a full immersion experience!
The DiVino philosophy is that wine tasting is an introduction to a larger conversation that includes history, culture, and most of all, personal stories.
It is our goal to give you the tools to join the conversation, while sparking your curiosity.

Oh . My. God. Dear you said civilized people! I'm hooked and subscribed on that alone. Can't wait to check out your full 21 day program. I'm a new brewer. Been into mead and distilling my undesirable ferments. Hope I can learn something from your channel. Thanks.

I just happened to have bought a bottle of Marsala prior to sequestering myself at home. SO, tonight I plan to make chicken Marsala, one of my favorite dishes, IF the grocery store really does deliver my groceries, including mushrooms, as scheduled this afternoon!! Can't wait to taste it having now had your lovely lesson on fortified wines. Thank you!

Thank you for this video! I was just clicking through trying to learn how to finish a batch of honey maple mead without using stabilizers. Now I’m thinking giving it a shot of brandy might help me feel confident in not making any bottle bombs👍

I was "gifted" a bottle of sweet Malaga and while I enjoy the aroma and taste I'm not sure what to do with it (over ice? in a cocktail?) Any recommendations? Pairings? It's like a sweet vermouth but not quite.

What's a good sweet fortified wine, i tried cream sherry, but it's yeasty, soy sauce like notes (which arrived very late in its evolution) was unappealing to me. Any recommendations?

Hello! I would avoid the cream-based liqueurs when getting started. If you want a sweeter one, try a sherry Oloroso!
