AyeeRockyy you start with the small and important pieces. And after a while you learn what stuff you need in order to put certain stuff in your weapon. For example take the AK74. You can’t put a sight on it because it can’t attach to anything but if you put something called a TULA, it will allow you to put a sight on it

I feel like this is the future of high-level FPS gaming, maybe even competitive gaming. The ability to master these subtle movements and use them in a way that's as close to IRL movement as we've probably seen in a shooter is going to be a defining factor in elite FPS gaming.

Various degrees of lean, looking independently of aim? If I've missed all of this in other games, you're right, I'm behind. I just can't think of another game that has done it like this. What else is this detailed?

I dunno, i'm looking for videos to maybe play this game and the first 4 minutes of this one were showing us a guns attachments. I was looking for something more along the lines of how is tarkov different from other similar games. And then he finally gets into a raid (without really explaining what they are beyond "areas you can go get loot in") and shows us weapon animations for a good minute lol. Everything explained here i had figured would be the case, didn't learn anything lol

Another little known bit is if you hold R and scroll with your mousewheel, you can pick what mag to load, or if you have a gun that can top load, you can bypass loading a new mag and top load your current one if you have loose ammo in your rig/pockets (m700 for example).

Or double tap r to fast reload if you need a magazine quickly. But it does drop your mag on the ground which you will have to pick back up after your fight but it's a lifesaver in a gunfight and your out of ammo

I haven't watched too many Tarkov streams, but I've seen parts of the last couple and I'm really impressed by the game. Seeing the breakdown of the gunsmith parts and the depth in the controls gives me a whole new respect for the game itself. That detail is amazing

Bought the game two days ago. Today I got my first good loot, a pretty decked out Ak74, and a sniper looking gun which name I already forgot. I absolutely love the depth of the game, and how easy it is to use all the mechanics like blindfire and adjusting walking speed, without having to migrate your fingers 12 miles off the WASD keys. Also the best weapon modification system I have ever seen! I can see great things coming out of this game in the future.

Sometimes I forget how amazing this game is. I have been playing for so long, so I'm used to all this stuff. But seeing someone describe it like this gives me that same feeling I got when first getting into Tarkov. Like wow, this game is nothing like anything I have played before. @@OGX3NO i think i got the hang of the game in like 2 to 3 days. I did get a lot of help tho from a lot of other players in the community i was in and still am. It's hard and really challenging on your own, but having another pair of eyes looking around with you does make it a bit easier sometimes

@@ItsMeJordyy I'm not sure what level of "overall understanding" you mean when you say you got the hang of the game, but I bought the game a few months ago and I think I might just be only starting to get a hang of it, completing quests and surviving about 1 out of 3 raids as PMC. The sheer amount of map knowledge just to begin playing- with everything else not even taken in factor- is legitimately crazy. Were you truly competent after just 2-3 days? I would say it takes about a month of semi-regular playtime, on 1-2 maps tops, to be comfortable playing. And only then on those 1-2 maps.

@@namelessdisasters yeah okay, i know that it didnt take me too long because of the big amounts of help that i got from the community. But it probably isnt 2 to 3 days no. It probably did take a bit longer. (More then 2 years passed by when i started playing) At the start i played the game so much that i started to look like some adicted gamer. And at the time i did know a fair bit about the game and stuff. After a while i stopped playing for a while bc it looked like the good thing to do, it was so bad that i started dreaming about the game. But if we start to talk about map knowledge at this moment, then i can only run customs and Factory with knowing the actual call outs. All the other maps i don't know anymore. It probably did take me longer tho tbh when i thing back about it

More like huge grind curve of skills. Rather than learning curve to me. Like reloading mosin for days in a bush to level a gunskill. Or hitting your friend in the foot just to level strengh so you can run fast😂

Kevin Verugin I wish the wipes would be at least twice a year not every few months lol and no ur sooo wrong lol just because they have gear doesn’t mean it’s “the best gear out there”.. I’ve killed juicy guys with just a scav mosin. I’m having a lot of fun with the game but I guess it’s not for some people especially ones that rage after getting killed by someone with armour

And here I am just being grateful some shooters recognize there's a bullet still in the chamber after a reload.

This was an awesome video for someone new to the game, like myself.

I found this game complicated when I started and I came from Arma. ARMA! THE most infamously unapproachable game. Parts that have limited compatibility need more explanation in their descriptors. Like half the handguards with alternate mounting systems don't tell you if they're KEYMOD, M-LOK, or CAS-V. I had to just know from real life gun mounting (like knowing Magpuls are M-LOK) which is not a reasonable expectation from gamers who aren't gun nuts, especially non-american ones.

its not too bad in game tbh. There is a feature when building guns called linked search, and itll only pull up parts which are compatible. But yes, if you do have some random handguard in your stash and you wanna put it on a gun, it may be uncompatible.

I came to Tarkov in 2017 after clocking around 2000 hours on DayZ. It was mostly an intuitive game for me to pick up and learn because of that. That being said: I always forget how truly complex the game really is until I have to teach the game to a new player who has never played a game like Arma or DayZ before. I haven't played much this wipe but I have 3400 hours on Tarkov now - the only game that ever surpassed my 2200 on DayZ. Really an incredible game.

a couple basic guns, basic sets of armor, some backpacks and some provisions. but even if you take all that stuff out and lose it, you can play as a "scav", which is a premade character you get every 20 minutes or so with a free, cheap kit, and you get to play a raid with them and keep anything you escape with to use on your main guy

Damn this game is detailed. That’s what I like. I recently found it.watching gameplay is sick all the realistic sounds are killer awesome it pulls you in. So is it persistent? Or do you have long rounds like Warzone and then everything resets? Like it is just an open world MMOFPS? If you die you just go back to a home base and respawn?
