Of course i liked it. It's not easy to make people understand about those things. Especially in Indonesia. So, i am very happy can share this video. :)

But if a disabled person may be a less good worker (as a waiter for example) and you therefore employ a not disabled person. Is that also discrimination?

There IS the idea of training opportunities. DMGT's video on this topic can explain more.

I have a fascination for animating in AIGA stick figures, and am fascinated by Britain's views on Equality and Diversity, perfected by the Houses of Parliament. :)

Thanks very much for the great presentation but I think your first point (00:16) equality is 'ensuring individual or groups are treated fairly to promote an equal society' actually refers to equity not equality (equality = same, equity = fair) - just my opinion. Keep up the good work and thanks for the video :)

Your going to have to go more into detail then just say "equal opportunity". Opportunity for what? Job, education, etc? We already have those things today in the USA?

Quit after first definition! It is extremely non-sensical to define "Equality" using the word "equal". DUH!

Equality is a concept of perfection, an imagination. Not everyone in this world will be equal and perfect, that’s a fairytale. That’s a lie. If you are someone who is reading this comment and you want equality for the world then I’m here to tell you that’s impossible. Nobody not even yourself has control over the whole world. Everyone is separate from each other-all in which we call individuals. Some may have power over others to choose peoples fates. Others who have more power can shut down the opportunities and possibilities for others. That’s nothing new. But whether or not somebody chooses to shut down the opportunities and possibilities for others based on their reasoning something you cannot change. But as an own representative of your world you have the choice to choose to demonstrate equality by giving people chances if have the power of a social space or work environment. But do be careful of who you trust always listen to your instincts.

Calling some one racist means i am as racist as him..😂😂 U are born into a race.. Its a evolutionary thing.. much higher than religion or moral standard.. As long as human exists race was there and will be there.. Just dont be ashamed of your race.. I am from Bangladesh with a family root from India just to be clear and its just my opinion.. No one needs to comply with it...

The hypocrisy of this video is shown with this quote: " Indirect discrimination is when you put a rule or arraignment in place that APPLY TO EVERYONE, BUT PUT SOME PEOPLE AT A DISADVANTAGE". In other words, for an employer or a college to hold everyone to the same standards, you know to treat people equally, is discrimination. So instead of actually being non discriminatory we must lower the standards for specific groups of people because they are too dumb to meet standards. That sounds racist to me. This is the liberal philosophy in a nut shell, in order to get the donkey to run as fast as the horse, we must hobble the horse. Or in simpler terms, drag everyone down to the lowest denominator.

Sorry Equality and Diversity are beautiful but sometimes totally incompatible. Visit "Is Equality Fair - Tom, Dick & Harry" and "Is Equality past its sell by date?" in ispy in Death of a Nightingale to understand.
