I watched this then went to see Dr. Mustain. He changed my life--- this was a easy surgery for me and fixed my problem. I'd been sick on and off for 17 years. It's now been 23 months I've not been sick. This surgery was amazingly easy for me. I was afraid to ask questions but don't be he'll explain everything so you understand. Amazing robotic surgery

This doctor explains it very well. I’ve watched quite a few videos on the subject, and he is both knowledgeable and articulate. I watched a different one yesterday, and although the information that doctor presented was good, I almost fell asleep because the way he spoke was so BORING. I was hospitalized for eight days in March with diverticulitis. It was horrible. Such pain! My colon had ruptured and I had an abscess lying on my bladder. I was treated with two IV antibiotics. Not allowed to eat for FOUR DAYS, which was another kind of torture, but it worked, I got better. Unfortunately, I’ve been starting to have symptoms again in the last few days (which I was warned could happen), so I guess it’s back to the doctor for me.

I have developed D at 73 years. My problem is that when stool collects in these pouches, it becomes extremely difficult to eliminate because of the mass of material at the beginning of excretion. It's like trying to pass a bowling ball through a small tube. I cannot pass the first stool without agonizing difficulty. I strain so much that I'm afraid I'll have a coronary. I don't think my diet's a problem - chicken, or fish, and steamed veggies every meal. After I get that first one out, everything is fine.

Don't fear this surgery with Dr. Mustain -- he's great. I went in on a Friday the 13th at 5am Was back in my room at 10:30 and was up walking before noon. The next morning I ate a normal breakfast then had a hamburger and fries for lunch. Sunday morning I went home-- scared to death but no problems. I've been great for 23 months now
