Space Mountain was built in Magic Kingdom first. So, that is the original version. Which explains why it is so jarring. They were able to improve it when they brought it to Disneyland. 😊

I normally go to Disney World, but when I went to Disneyland for the first time last year I remember seeing the castle and being so underwhelmed and thinking "it's so small"

Wife and I went a number of years back, back when they had "slow times" and one of the weird feelings of Magic Kingdom is while it does share certain similarities with Disneyland it just has an odd feeling because the pathways seem so much bigger and things are spread much further apart.

We go to wdw more because of our location but we went Disneyland last Christmas and I agree with Greg most of the rides at dl are better. Should have went to Gastons for the cinnamon roll.
