I like Mike and his feedback. He shoots from the hip and tells it like it is. That is a rare trait in media these days.

Wow Couz’s this video was a none stop flow of info. I think I heard maybe 10 words from you.
Donaldson reminds me of Russell Shell that came from Pitt. You have to hold your breath every time he runs the ball because he is injury prown so much.
Asti must have some Italian running through his blood, this man loves to talk.
Let's go mountaineers 🏈🏀
Great show Couz ,thank you both for information.

Thanks Brian
Asti made it sound like checking down would have increased Greene's completion percentage, but was the short/intermediate stuff (lay ups) that were the problem. Completion percentage was about the same on short stuff as the long ball. Tyler Allen's discussion about it all in his presser was great.
I am actually more concerned about our defense than I am offense.

Everything I’m hearing out of Spring makes me much more confident in the defense. It is just spring ball though. We will see.

Mountaineers!
Just realized this comment on the Steelers not being able to sit on their second round pick to get Frazier. Oh how that aged lol
O-line slips down a little bit. QB improves / running backs about the same and receivers about the same. Defense looks similar to me in terms of skill set. I think it will be an eight or nine win team this year.

Defense will be more experienced overall though, and they will have arguably their two best LBs returning from injury.

@@CouzsCornerSports Yeah but didn't we lose our best linebacker Kpogba to graduation - the same guy that I thought was spearheading the defense last year and usually led the team in tackles? He and Bishop were by far the 2 leading tacklers last year so there are some major holes to be filled - right?
Anyone who listened to the coaches didn't expect Gallagher to have a big season last year. The fact that it would be an adjustment year was clear. And neither his family nor Marchiol's family has likely been pushing them to transfer. Part of the reason Marchiol and Gallagher understand the need for time/development because their family have instilled that understanding and patience.

I’ll agree with you on Gallagher. I’m not so sure on Marchiol. But Nicco loves it at WVU and at the end of the day it’s his decision.

@@CouzsCornerSports I think Marchiol has made it pretty clear that he wants to be at WVU and understands the process and need to develop, same as Greene did.

I agree no one should have had high expectations for Gallagher, especially because he had to adjust to a new position. With that said, people absolutely did have expectations and Brown knows that, which is why he talks about tempering the expectations for him all the time. Also, I think it's best they both stay and develop, but I'll just say this. You are right about one of those families preaching patience to their kid.

Well, he dropped me as of July 1 so you won’t have to worry about it anymore after that. Lol
The helmet thing did not cost the game against Houston lol they should’ve never been allowed to hang around and that soft ass coverage when everyone in America knows where the ball is going on that last second Hail Mary didn’t help lol wr’s clean up drops and the secondary steps up and I will be all on board. Hope/expectations scare me as a mountaineer fan 😂
@MikeAsti11

Oh they 100% didn’t play well enough at all, but keep the helmet on and no way does Houston get that pass far enough starting further back. Greene knows it too. Just the case.

@@MikeAsti11it was absolutely a contributing factor but it just seems unfair to put that loss on him bc again, that whole game was an absolute mess and the defense on the final play was just insane.

@@lukebryant5017 It’s just an example of playing smart that’s need to get to the next to truly contend. One dumb mistake after playing well can be the difference of getting in Big 12 title game or not.
