Jay and Alina, this was the best cost of living video about Bali I have ever watched and I have been researching for about 3 months now. You covered every category and the interaction between the two of you (chemistry) is excellent. You are very respectful and when each added or corrected the other humbly listen and agreed. So refreshing and you now have me as a serious subscriber!! Some You tubers ramble and waste words, you make your words count. Yes if you can give us more like you did with the gym and your barber with recommendations/companies and individuals it really helps. I am waiting on my business visa and meanwhile gathering as much information as I can. I have already purchased that travel insurance and am yet to choose a VPN. I'll look at yours. Here's something that will be very helpful to those of us (like me) who have never had a VPN. I am still trying to understand what it is and what is included. Does Netflicks and the other things mention come with the VPN or does it simply allow you a way to subscribe (for additional cost) to those benifits? This may seem like a dumb question but whenever I research these questions on the web I end up more confused. Thanks for your great videos and best of luck as you continue your journey there.

Thank you so much Robert, you are a star! You literally made our day! Regarding VPN, its an essentially some sort of "mask" of you network, it hides who you are, all your data and the place you are at. So if you have netflix subscription (you have to have one, VPN just hides your personal data and location) and are fom USA, you only have certain shows you can watch "licensed for USA", however if you change you location to UK, Australia etc (i click in VPN) you can watch what people watch in Australia on Netflix. Many major sites are restricted in many countries, using VPN you can visit them from restricted locations, also you will be completely anonymous and secured. Hope that helps

@@jayandalina Thank you so much for your helpful reply. I'm one of those that did not apply and recieve my Business Visa in time and Ive now been waiting for over a month for them to accept that type of visa. You are blessed to get there before the recent lockdown. Keep posting your great videos. You'll be very successful I'm sure. Thanks again! I will likely get the VPN you recommended on your site😁

Been to Bali 5 times and of course have considered staying there for a month or two! I appreciate your extensive video guys! Honestly when vacationing I spending typically 700-800 Singapore Dollar for 6 days. And to think that with 2100 Singapore Dollar(flights not included) for a month makes it very very very interesting. That’s exactly the type of general information people are interested to know if moving to a specific place around the world. I appreciated that towards the end of your video you gave us the monthly expenses total in the various foreign exchanges. Can I make a suggestion? When using the $ ,please incorporate if it is the USA ,CAN or AUD. Because at a glance you know exactly what it is in your own country. We love your videos-keep up the good work👍

Hi, you can find pretty much everything you would need in Bali, but options are limited and much more expensive, just keep it in mind. For example tampons cost more than 100K IDR which is 7 USD and more! I would suggest to take as much as you can with you if you are coming here long term. 🙂
pretty accurate, maybe you forgot to speak about coffee and drink, and supermarket stuffs that usually need during a months, the trip I would consider a extra, but anyway not bad, of course you lucky because Alina dont speak about expensive cream and girl products to buy :)
Thats actually not bad, i'm surprised it only cost basically $800 each. That's cheaper than mine $1,000 just for myself haha 😅

I’m enjoying you both, your channel, and your thoughts. It’s nice to hear from intelligent people. Please consider doing a video on the ‘Cost of Living in Bali’ as opposed to the ‘Price of Living in Bali’. In other words, what do you give-up by not being home…meaning, what are the trade-offs? These aren’t negatives but rather the reality of living elsewhere. Often, the cost of living in Bali has nothing to do with the prices in Bali.

When people say Bali is so cheap so affordable I think they are only speaking to certain people from certain countries. Please stop saying how cheap Bali is. If everyone goes on like this Bali will not be “cheap” anymore in a few years.
