I converge with your explanation; although some more iterations of explaining would be ideal, the time required for that would defeat the purpose 😅

Two add my two cents of thought: 1)Mathematicians don't want to achieve machine accuracy. We'd like to, but most of the time not possible nor necessary 2) In my experience most engineers who just want to use some simulation software are not aware that you have multiple levels where you need to "converge" or let's better say: There are multiple levels where your approximation needs to be "good enough" in order to have any meaning at all.
